stop pretending that i am ever the deciding outcome of my games

funny thing is... out of every game i play.. I'm the only CONSTANT. (i am showing unranked game because my intenet is being stupid again so i cant play ranked)

if i get a good team.. it doesnt matter that they had 5 nid counters.. it doesnt matter we had NO ADC what mattered was my team knew how to focus objectives my team knew who to prioritize during fights my team had map awareness and knew how to help a teammate out when keep that 100% guarenteed death i had if my team didnt help.. to an 100% guarenteed kill becuase they had map awareness, and my team didn't FEED.. when they died.. they died for an objective or to guarantee a teamfight win, THATS what makes a difference https://matchhistory.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/NA1/2696460878/207008136?tab=overview becuase when i get that... i can carry the shit out of that game..

sure i can get kills.. but I'm going to get deaths, because instead of me jumping in with 1 kills on someone with 1 kill i have to jump in with 5 kills on someone with 14 kills while being the only person who can do jack shit (example)

and yeah i get the kill and i keep the tower alive

maybe next time i die.. but i keep the tower alive.. or i steal an infernal but die.. and sometimes i have to do stupid shit to try to keep our nexus alive and that will ruin my kda. that cant always be avoided. but i have to TRY to save the nexus.. i have to TRY, because if i don't at least attempt to stop it... then its lost anyways. and yeah if there no way in hell i can stop it im not ganna try.

but if i had to throw my body at the enemy team 5 times but each time i keep that nexus with a few hp... then that's what it takes.

the fact is the games i going are 90% of the time decided by matchmaking the instant i hit the "accept" button...

why? because i play my main. every champion i play i have over 100k mastery on, and im 10th of the game.. and every game i play im giving either or 9% or a 10% out of that 10%

You might not be able to decide the outcome, but if you learn something while you're playing and improve yourself as a player no loss will be a true loss. Your goal is to make a difference in those games where you can make a difference, not the ones you can't, so the more you prepare for those games the better.

As a top lane main who started back when a hypercarrying top laner could single handedly win the game, and has seen the shift over the years to a team focus, and to a bot lane focus, it's thinking like this that has kept me sane enough to keep playing.

I think this is pretty much it. I mostly jungle, but I feel like when I play mid, top, supp, or adc I decide the games a lot more.

I feel like jungle is not in a good place for most champs. There are a couple (and they are mostly AD and early game champs) that do well, but right now a jungler isn't really going to win for their team but they can lose it pretty easily (some off-meta picks that used to work, are almost impossible to jungle with now). It is a very unforgiving position right now. Almost any lane can invade easily at this point making it a nightmare. You just do your best to hold your own part of the game up. Evaluate yourself, by how well you game managed, not by your wins at this point. If you are not the reason your team lost, be happy with it, or play a different lane.

I was playing my intro rounds into this season last 2 days, and I have gotten jungle slot every time, even when I put support as my first choice and jungle as second. Not a lot of people push for it as much now. It used to be super hard to get jg, but not I don't have a problem.

You can actually decide the outcome of the game depending how your teammates are, as I said I single handedly carried some games (not all)

yeah u can, but it also depends what champ your playing... that's quite normal for ADC's and champ like Katarina .. but it's nearly impossible for other champs.

That's why you play the commonly known lanes for the carry (Top, Mid, Jg) Yes it is nearly impossible that's why you limit your champ pool and pick strong carries.

honestly this is true.. i can carry better as support than i can jungle... because if i get an adc with half a functioning brain cell i can get them fed. and w/e team has a more fed adc wins. my first five games yesterday were proof enough of that
