Why you shouldn't play ranked right now if you want to be competitive.

If you are trying to climb ELO, and want to play hard and play to win ranked, then wait a month. Right now 75% of the people in ranked haven't played since last january, are trolling because now there's more people to troll, or just don't care about winning and want to see if they can 1v5 or throw an impossible to throw game for fun. The community is in such an unplayable state right now. I have had more toxic idiots and more people who look like they've never played before in the last 2 days than in all of last season combined. Maybe it has something to do with resets, division 1 players being put in the same reset rank as division 5 players, but this game is straight up unplayable if you want to be competitive right now.

Also if you are in high gold right now (plat+ last season), you should be matched with last season plats and diamond 5's, which is OK, but I've also heard of high diamonds getting placed in gold 1 as well.

this makes it extremely hard to climb because there are people like bjergson in gold (from what I heard) playing alongside last season plats and low/mid diamonds. I realized the hard way that it's better to avoid ranked right now because I can't beat d3s.
