why do i even jungle.

people give garbage leashes, not realizing jungle is substantially harder than it was, rage at you when they do bad, and generally just blame the jg. i love playing it but my god the people absolutely ruin it for you.

How about you ask them to leash longer? I never smite the buff (I save for frog), people leash it all the way to last second. I have never been blamed for someone losing lane.

If they auto attacked twice (either top laner or your duo bot) and you couldn't clear anything else, the problem might be you. (bad champ/runes/mastiers) Most junglers (if not invaded) can handle at least a 3 camp clear, even without a leash. If you are having problems doing this take to a custom game and try a few things out.

that's not the problem. it forced me to waste pots. which put me behind in jungle. and honestly i wouldn't care that much if they didn't feed their lanes then proceed to blame me because i can't stop a 2/0 100 farm trynd at 10 minutes.

Using potions doesn't put you behind in jungle. Just tell them to stay until the monster is low on health.

He's 2/0 at 10 minutes? Clearly you didn't do your job. Seriously, what the hell were you doing for those 10 minutes?

it cuts down my already very little sustain. i asked them. they said 2 aa leash scrubvana, aa'd twice, then left and proceeded to rage at me all game.

So you have a low sustain champion (probably an non-typical jungler). Why aren't you rushing trailblazer? Do you have armor seals? What about masteries did you take the bleed mastery in the defensive tree? You may even need butcher if you are auto attacker.

Killing the ward turtles (that don't fight back) gives you a free heal.

If you are using a champ with bad early sustain or a non-typical jungler then start red buff and smite it for your health back. You can also rush trailblazer and you would be set.

To be honest, I see all kinds of shitty junglers who either never gank (sit there and farm), don't ping before they dive, don't defend tower when someone has to roam (like if you were just at top, and bot needs a gank and I roam away from mid; defend my friggen tower. You gain exp faster farming my minions anyways).

why do i want to play a role where if heaven forbid i don't do well, everyone on the team rages at me and begs for reports at end of game?

Start Krugs or Gromp and use smite on them. Use pot. Hit big camp. Use pot. Take Wolves (NOT RAPTORS), using smite if necessary. Back for heals and upgrade machete.

^This, kinda. I usually get both buffs though.

If you can't do a good clear without a leash you shouldn't be jungling that champ imo.

Fiddlesticks can't clear first jungle without a leash unless he starts red buff and smites it (at least not do it and have enough health to clear the next jungle). He has amazing sustain once he gets to lvl 2. While most of the junglers can beat their first camp without leash, they will usually have a rough time doing any other camp afterwords.

So you are not taking Drain at level 1? You are jungling Fiddle wrong, 100%.

Fiddle may not clear fast, but he has the safest and healthiest clear in the game and can solo dragon pretty early, as long as you rush AP (like the Magus enchant), max Drain, and always grab blue buff. Drain at full ranks and max CDR literally is infinite sustain as long as you have the mana to pull it off, since it's a 5 second spell with a 4.5 second cooldown.

With any mana champ, I start/smite Gromp so that when I turn around and do blue immediately after, the camp hurts itself on my Gromp buff. With Fiddle in particular this is good: Drain at level 1 is best for single targets (Gromp) and then Dark Wind at level 2 for AOE damage at blue. No leash required.

What? This isn't even close to true. Here's a fiddle clear on the new jungle that won a competition for fastest fiddle jungle clear.

Yo look how much health he had there! Plus blue buff making up for the low mana, that's a level 3 all-in gank for bot or mid right there.

Strange, last time I tried it with no leash I get left with barely any health. I have armor seals, and the bladed armor mastery. Yes, I do take drain lvl 1 and I always get fed as hell when I play fiddle.

I just looked at your match history. You only have one recent game where you were playing a jungler, and it was with Riven. Riven has shit sustain, and yet you took stalker's blade instead of trailblazer. That's your problem. Start red buff, and smite it for the heal (when your health gets low). Then run over to either wolves. Chickens will kick your ass.

Riven should gank really early. As early as lvl 2 if the situation arises. Kill the ward turtle if you need the health.

Honestly, Riven is handicapping herself by going jungle; as she's very lvl reliant. Good junglers can make do with items alone.

Without reading every1 else's post, ( i apologize ) people generally rage at you as a jungler because they are losing ther lane and expect u to be the fixall person. Don't take it personally, its likely not ur fault they are feeding or are struggling. Ur best option is to look for a lane that is winning and get that person snowballing hard rather than try to bail your losing lane and risk allowing the enemy laner(s) to snowball harder.

people give garbage leashes

giving a good leash usualy means losing level wise on your lane while the payoff of your gank is not guaranteed
