Can we talk a bit about how to beat a fed kassadin?
Now this has been a recent issue that's been bothering me regarding kassadin's insane late game potential. Before i go on however, i want to clarify that i don't think kassadin needs to be nerfed or changed but rather bring attention to just how dangerous this champion is if he gets ahead. In the past, i never really found kassadin to be annoying to play against neither did i really think he was strong, but as i started to play as and against kassadins a bit more i noticed that kassadin as a champion is able to build tank items with mana like iceborn gauntlet and frozen heart and still oneshot you in the late game as long as he's ahead. He has great late game mobility and is near impossible to kill unless your team has strong lock down cc like malzahar r. Recently i played a game against a kassadin on a smurf account in diamond 3 mmr. Our team was able to secure a massive lead in the early game with the score being 21/4 at one point. Every single member on the team was ahead and it seemed like a game we "could not lose" However, after a cleanup by him at the baron pit resulting in a triple kill it seemed like he snowballed off the charts, he was able to oneshot our kaisa by spamming all his buttons at once but was also insanely tanky with his iceborn gauntlet and zhonyas. (he also had a yuumi sitting on him but she was 0/8) I want to clarify that he didnt aquire a massive lead with the shutdown gold from the triple kill, we were all level 16-18 range with me (as Riven) being level 18 with all items completed. He seemed to just walk all around the map and 1v9 without taking any damage. (we weren't completely cc less too as we had a leona in the support and veigar in the midlane.) We tried grouping as 5, splitting but it seemed like there was no way we could win a fight against him, he was simply too strong. I know that kassadin's weakness is primarily in the early game and laning phase but if any kassadin mains could shed some light on how to fight a fed one in the late game; that would be much appreciated.
