Remember when Rammus was considered a mobile champ?

Remember when Rammus was nearly impossible to run away from? Remember that was the whole reason to play him? A real mobile champ that could catch top laners, and ADC's and mages. I vaguely remember that. Now Nidalee can out run him by simply pouncing. Lissandra can easily get out of the way and warp to safety. Kalista and Ahri can both kite him into oblivion, and RekSai just goes into a tunnel and behind a wall; and now with Bard coming "Oh shit, a spinning turtle! everyone inside!" gate way opened.

I still love you though Rammus, even though you are completely useless now.

At this point I think that bard is the only champion with balanced mobility, simply because if he wallhops away, the enemies can follow him anyway and kill him.

I wish Riot would approach mobility in creative ways like this more often, instead of slapping a skillshot dash on every new champion, which we all know just ends up getting abused as a free wallhop.

Then the enemy slowed travel gives Bard and friends time to turn and slaughter Rammus.

I think his clear speeds are really what does Rammus in. Yeah he's in large part outclassed by other tanks already but he'd at least be usable if he weren't always behind.

If he did not get nerved as fast as he saw any play.

Well he was actually at 59% win rate for several months without any nerfs or fotm pick rate. Then they gave him two nerfs right before the changes to the jungle which didn't favor him at all. Howeverrrrrr, Rammus should benefit a lot from the new Cinderhulk item.

Would love to see some video gameplay evidence where Rammus powerballs to chase any of those champions you have listed and actually gets kited to the point where he can't cast his E on them. because from my perspective, this never happens.

Obviously under fair conditions: same tier boot choice, probably all characters have their core items built, open ground (mid lane river).
