I've only played her a handful of times, all mid lane. I absolutely wrecked Fizz but got manhandled by the atrocity known as 
, who I seriously wish was deleted from the game. Is she better against top lane where she has more room to throw her spears or mid? What are the best matchups for her?

But Mid Nidalee has a the lowest winrate in the game (39%), so I'd just go jungle.

Nidalee falls a lot behind the more the game goes on and she really isn't suited for a midalne. I've lost midlane to her time to time but in the end the game prolonged long enough for her not being a treath anymore.

If it was about Yasuo then I won't, because right now he is in a rather weak state and he needs perfect exploit of your weakness to be of some importance in the game.
Now, on a less brutal answer about it. Just learn to exploit the fallacies in his kit and you will find him to be rather easy as matchup.
SnugglePuggle941 votesI've learned how to deal with him with Cho and Annie, but with any other mid laner it's hard to deal with him. His stupid shield is always up, he has an annoying wind wall to add with it, and extremely insane mobility along with a knock up ult. That's just too much and I wish he was never even made.

SnugglePuggle941 votesOf course Varus can do well. He has long AA range and exceptional poke. A lot of mid laners I'm great at our melee. I have to get up and personal to proc his shield, then to use damage on him to poke is just hard enough as he can just turn on me, stab with his sword and drive a wind wall up my ass. Then when I retreat, heal back up, farm some then go to poke again, his shield is back up, he has healed from my poke, and is better than ever. Going all in on him is a chore too as he has so much defensive and offensive play with little counterplay. And he can 100-0 you so quick its hard to react in time.
Stars Shaper1 votesEvery character has chance to poke down Yasuo. Varus skills are all missles meaning that on a wind wall he just has to retreat. Any other character can do better than that. Tell me any character you play I can tell you how exploit his skills to make Yasuo's life hard.
SnugglePuggle941 votesI main Diana, and I can't seem to do well with her against him. I can wreck LB, Kat, Zed, Talon, and others with her but Yasuo I can't. Even with her shield, it's still hard to win lane against him. The only time I did was when I went Tank Diana, where I started cloth 5 and rushed armor items, getting Frozen Heart and stuff. Then I was able to outlast his damage and take him down even though I couldn't burst him down as easily.

You must always attack him when he makes a move and scare him off, once you have him in trouble deciding what to do the lane is yours.

Stars Shaper1 votesI guess you should charge him when you have orbs up and try to pointblank Q to avoid the wall. Having the shield up for you then should make you win the trade expecially if you manage to proc the 3rd AA on him for Diana's passive. This way should work even if you didn't manage to get down his shield previously.
SnugglePuggle941 votesI guess I could use my first AA to get his shield, then shield myself and AA twice more to get the cleave and Q around if he throws his wall. I haven't matched myself up with him in a long time with her as I try to avoid it.
