Question for the support mains.

Im making a video, and I just wanted a some community outlooks for how they feel about their role/focus when they support.

So Id love some discussion, and comments, but if you dont mind, head up your post with your top 3 motivations while supporting.

For me, its something like:

Bodyguard the ADC, mid game our best carry
Help keep the kills in our favor (help out team secure kills, and out team avoid deaths)
Vision control for the team around botlane and nearby objectives (dragon/buffs)

So tell me what you try to focus on, what are your priorities when your in the support position?

Vision of enemy jungle
Make the enemy adc wish he never entered your lane :P 3)Keep adc alive but if they do something stupid don't sacrifice yourself and make it a potential double

Id like to hear your thoughts on number one some more. Do you use deepward pink strats, or stealth ward near the buffs?

Also what kinds of supports do you like to harass the enemy ADC with?

Stealth wards are bae just use them between the two buffs ( Gromp and blue or raptor and kruggs ) so i know when we're going to be ganked I only use pink for lane so i know where our jungler can get access from

I play alot of off meta stuff such as Sion Support and singed Sion doesn't use alot of mana for axe strike so you just harass enemy laners and slow them with push Singed is just slows and seperations

1.) Map control/awareness for helping jungle and bot lane. 2.) Trade with enemy adc so my adc can focus on cs, then come in when enemy is low enough. 3.) Make plays! Save teammates, catch out enemies, bait someone, and punish jungler for ganking.

It depends on your ADC's behavior -- not their plans, not their thinking, but what they do.

If the ADC abandons bot lane... 1). ...before taking the outer tower, then the support role is temporary defilade to extend the doomed friendly outer tower's lifespan. 2). ...after taking the outer tower, then support's role is opportunistic farming and lane vision to pressure their inner turret.

If the ADC wins their lane towers, support's primary role is then to provide vision of the enemy team positions
