I love the champ and i still perform well, but right now his only role is a hyper burst support early with electrocute. And thats only really feasible after 500k mastery and fully learning his in and out. His tank is lacking, his late game is horrid. Please gimmie something on this guy.
to be fair you have to have a high iq to truly understand AP Naut
half the champions in the game are like that. they take turns making different ones op to make sure people have to keep buying different ones.

Nautilus can do well against any champion that does not have conquerors in my opinion. He has too much cc / disruption capability to ever be considered weak. His power isnt even low, hell Id say he is one of the few that are not overly powerful or overly useless..
He is a dive, ccblast, and peel champion. As for matchups, nautilus cant solo trade any champion in this game without electrocute. Thus gutting his toplane performance. Also any champion that has a dash or blink outplays him easily. And this is coming from someone with 500k mastery on the big fella.
Oh, man this is must be a joke. As Nautilus in this season, I have been able to 1v2 APCs with a support. Take out ADCs with the exception of jhin who at the moment is overbuffed with NO help from others as his kit lets him incinerate them easily. In my last game as him I was able to hold a 1v4 nexus rush while my team respawned with 30 second timers to go. ( yi was 20+ kills ) The only way Nautilus is useless is if you are playing in a binary "I need to do everything by the book. Seriously having 500k mastery points doesn't mean anything if you don't adapt to the game.
Edit: Forgot to mention. If you are down by 2k gold odds are whoever you are you wont win a 1v1. Just sayin'.
