Why should I pick Mordekaiser over Diana for example?
Why would I pick Mordekaiser over Diana?
She has.....
- Way higher burst and sustain damage.
- Great target selection/mobility/CC
- AOE damage.
- Almost immediate shield.
Diana has way better ap scaling. Diana can achieve 330% ap - 475% ap depending on how well she uses
and

Morde has about 400 % ap - 500% ap built into his kit but since he almost never builds attack speed it takes ages to get that damage off. He has to build tanky first which does not leave room for move speed/ attack speed.
Lets compare their shields at full build. Diana can get a shield for about 660 health available almost immediately. Morde has to do damage first then he can slowly gain about the same 660 health. He can't always guarantee he will have it fully charged before a fight plus he can't guarantee he would even get to do any damage to even get the shield to begin with.
Lets talk about target selection/mobility/CC...., Morde has none, why are we still talking? Lets talk about AOE damage, Diana has more.
Why would I pick Morde? Perhaps his ult? Well, I can't guareentee I will always get a dragon, and they don't last very long either. They are also slow asf. I can't guarentee I'd get an ADC because they are usually in the back line and I'd probably die from the front line by the time I ult them. Plus the have lifesteal making his ult damage useless. And lets face it, a melee ghost is just as useless as Morde himself.
Why would I pick Morde? He just seems highly conditional and the output is almost never worth it.
