It's him getting kill after kill off of overextended lanes and being fed to the point that he is literally unstoppable.
No, please quit putting words in my mouth, thanks.
I don't have to put words in your mouth, you put them there.
Woah, a fed champion being unstoppable? REALLY?!? NO WAYYYYYYYYY!
You want to know why Yi always gets fed?
Because you failed to take advantage of his piss poor early game and farm him like you would a cannon minion.
"Muh early game". Lol, you Ryze Master Yi players are all the same. What happens when he hits 6 then? Want to tell me? Or are you going to continue to hide behind your generic, meaningless responses that you so love to use?
I hate facing Yi because of his hugely overloaded kit
Lol, can't get enough of people throwing around stuff like that without knowing what the heck it means.
Except one thing, I DO know an overloaded kit when I see one. Let's take a look: His Q, along with being able to crit, makes him invulnerable and can hit 4 people. The cooldown lowers each time you auto attack so the actual cooldown on his invuln is 3-4 seconds.
His W just healing him would be fine by itself, but noooo. The damage reduction that was thrown in there for no reason allows him to mindlessly towerdive and then ignore most of the turret's and victim's damage. "But muh early game!!??!!!?!!!" Not to mention that using his W works as an auto-attack reset, so Yi can hit you a even more. The AA reset or the heal aren't the unhealthy parts, it's the stupid damage reduction.
His E actually seems pretty fair, although it has a random passive that increases his damage even more. Before you start calling me out on "hiz E r sO opp og hidden passif omgggggg", I will say once again that I think this ability is balanced.
I also dislike his R's passive. Not only can he auto attack to make his Q's cooldown nonexistent, it also instantly drops 70% of the cooldown on kill or assist. This means Yi will spend yet again even MORE time invulnerable to all CC. I can't really complain about the movement and attack speed his active gives him because it has to do SOMETHING, right? Once again, I still think the movement speed is balanced yet annoying because he can outrun any situation he feels like with it. Immunity to slows, you say? Here they are, throwing even more defensive capability into this assassin's kit. The slow immunity isn't really bad, I just question why it was needed. Master Yi is now immune to an entire category of CC as well as being able to dodge the rest with his Q. "Just cc him!" Yeah ok.
Why, pray tell, does an assassin have not two, not three, but FOUR defensive features of his abilities? He's got the low CD invuln on his Q, a percentage damage reduction and heal on his W, and full immunity to slows on his R. It would actually be five defensive features if you counted running 90 miles per hour to escape any situation you don't feel like facing, but I digress.
ability to be a complete monster late game without a whole lot of counterplay.
So being squishy, having a pathetic early game and one of the easiest "asssassins" to shut down means little counterplay? Wow... I'm Bronze and you sound pathetic.
"Muh early gameeesss????" yet again... Right, because Master Yi is just SIMPLE to shut down, emirite? "Just CC him? Hur durrrrr durrrrrrrr?" Sorry, but Yi can dodge basically every CC skill in the game with his Q. Once Yi hits six, he gains the ability to not only dodge all of your CC but also run away if the situation doesn't appeal to him. "Easiest to shut down" lol ok.
Ok, so Yi has a "bad" early game... So what? All he has to do is farm and play safe until level 6 and then he'll be incredibly strong come mid game where he can clean up all the kills in teamfights.
I'm not sure why I'm still having this discussion, to be honest. People will quite literally never run out of ways to defend their champion, and I don't expect any of you to be different.
TL;DR- No, you're gonna read it this time instead of posting generic responses.
