Im talking about champion hate of course.

We had people complain about Yasuo, then Riot released a article saying "we are looking at Yasuo" then there was hate for a little bit longer before switching to Vayne

We had people complain about Vayne, then she got nerfed, we had people complain for a day or 2 more saying it wasnt enough before Vayne threads disappeared switching to Lee

We had people complain about Lee, then his ult got nerfed, we had people complain for a bit longer saying it wasnt enough before it was switched to Riven

NOW we have people complaining about Rivens CC canceling and (while bullshit) i wanna know why NOW is when hate gets to her? she has been able to do this for a LONG time and the video showing it came out a month or longer ago. Is it possible that there is some upvote farming circlejerk going on?

And before you people claim "favoritism" on riot, just look above as well as what these changes has actually done to the champions winrates. They ARE being nerfed.

The reason Riven isnt disabled I BELEIVE is because riot knows she can do this, as well as other dash champs can. So you notice it more on riven cause she has like 4 dashes, but everyone can do it. So they are probably fixing the coding of DASHES instead of Riven. I also almost guarantee that Riot thinks its hard to do and only a small portion of Riven players can actually CC cancel so they dont feel like it would be fair to all the Riven players who can't actually do this bug.

If you look closely usually when a champ get disabled its because the bug is INSANELY easy to reciprocate.

But the Riven bug has been known about for MONTHS, and Riot said back then they are working on it (although i know that it isn't to high on their priority list, there is A LOT of much bigger issues in league right now.) How come JUST NOW are people complaining about it?

The gameplay boards AREN'T used to balance anymore. It is a clown fiesta of people complaining about things they don't like.

XD yeah i mean for the most part i understanded the peoples hate for Lee and Vayne. When Yasuo was getting hate it was AFTER they made it harder for him to build full tank and for whatever reason people still think he was.

Lee in all honesty was really stupid, every game i ADCd against a lee i got all out 1 shot.

Vayne was rediculous but that "small" nerfed actually fixed her quite nicely.

And the Riven bug isnt that big a deal in all honesty.

i have never had an issue with lee... chances are due to his kit they are more likely to screw something up as lee then be a god on him

never had an issue with vayne...

riven i normally play against and champs i like in top lane normally beat her...

issues with champs arent issues... they are lack of experience and learning how to play against them and learning to be better at the game

its the people i have issues with

I agree, while i do think the patches before vayne and lee respectively they were really damn strong. A lot of other issues stem from people lack of want to learn how to fight these champs.

yes people rather cry and bitch something is broken, unfair, toxic, cancer, etc instead of trying to learn to beat them. i have played since the end of season 2... in the time i have played i have really only witness a handful of champs who truly were broken and impossible to play against

I agree lol it's like the boards all share a brain when it comes to champion hate. It's like a witch hunt or something. I get how Riven dodging cc is stupid but people are acting like they are having Rivens good enough to use this in their games.

When it comes to stuff like this i think people just kind of think about the biggest abuse scenario. Riven standing still doing nothing and only using her dashes to avoid CC. Its not like Rivens still need to use them anyway. No. They are always sitting there saving ALL their dashes to avoid ALL CC.

I mean i find it annoying that she CAN cause i dont like riven. But people are acting like Riven is BREAKING LEAGUE. QUICK SHUT DOWN THE SERVERS, RIVENS GONNA HAVE A 95% WINRATE.

I honestly just feel like it's an extremely stupid thing to have in a game when CC is such a huge part of some champions' kits. She can, for example, make Yasuo unnable to ult her on his own. Or completely deny a Blitz hook. Hell, she can dash through Poppy's no-dash zone.

there's been hate for yasuo since the day yasuo was released. There's definitely a hate bandwagon though. and no, this isn't something riot's known about. Other champions can do it, but that's just a problem with how dashes are coded. They're going to try to fix the bug, supposedly. It's not as bad as teemo's bug was though, or twisted fate's, or any champion that's been disabled.

EXACTLY. and yeah all of these champions are perpetually hated by people. But the HIVE MIND can only focus at one at a time.

I posted a metaphor on a similar thread, just gonna reiterate it here.

The boards can best be described as a two headed sleeping dragon.

Now these heads want different living environments and nourishment, and will roar and be generally loud when they don't get what they want.

Feed one head what it wants and it will sleep silently.

However it goes to the stomach of both heads, and the other head doesn't like that food, so it roars and snarls and breaths fire all over the place.

In a similar fashion, make things comfortable for the second head, like set the room temperature to 120*, will make the head fall asleep in contentment.

However this wakes the first head, who likes cold rooms. So this head roars and snarls and breaths fore everywhere.

TL;DR

There are two sides of the boards to every aspect of this game. Typically the content side says nothing and "sleeps".

The other side will spam the boards with complaints and say that Riot is killing the game.

If the game goes in the direction to please them, the previously sleeping side will wake up and start complaining.

It is a vicious cycle.

That is a really good metaphor actually. Although from what i seen its more like 1 head that is just never satisfied with the state things are in. And it'll keep complaining until you completely pander it, then the other head is just sitting here like "WTH this is ALL wrong" So instead of being back and forth it is more of just ceaseless arguing between the 2 heads that is very loud and annoying.

I think that sometimes there IS valid concerns on balance. But those threads get buried in downvotes by "Gut Yasuo lul" "Riven bug THE MOST BROKEN THING" threads of people who dont want to debate balance and just want to complain.
