Spear of Shoji allows AD champions to tank absurdly amounts of damage with a full ofensive build

Exactly what the title says.

This new ítem should be deleted from the game even before releasing it. You can build Spear of Shoji and and basically become and unkillable tank with tons of attack speed, AD, crit chance, life steal and a second chance in case you play absolutely bad and get hit by three enemy ults at the same time.

Notice how this build turns you into the tankiest bullshit you can find in the current game despite consisting in ninja tabi and five OFFENSIVE AD ITEMS. Why in the world AD champions should have access to all this "defensive + ofenssive" ítems is beyond my comprehension, specially when AP champions never get anything in this style because "hurr durr, the Zhonya is too powerful, incoherent blabbing".

zhonyas is far more powerful than any of those items or all of them put together except item 3072 on a crit adc

yeah it will allow them to mitigate damage from a full offensive build... they will still take damage and they are still squishies and they are still going to take quite a bit of damage and for it to really do something of value you would need to be near 3 other enemy champions and successfully land an attack. 15% of your bonus AD is a pretty low number. Let's just randomly put that you build 5 items that give 80 AD that is 400 bonus AD then we take the 15% of that and we get ..60. then we add the base of 10 and that means you are mitigating 70 damage which is then doubled if you are near 3 enemy champions so you can mitigate a grand total of 140 damage and that is calculated BEFORE armor and MR is even calculated. You really aren't mitigating all that much damage. It will help you in a 1v1 scenario for sure but other than you aren't going to be able to survive anywhere near a long as you think you are

That's 140 per source of damage. That is also before resist mitigation as well as PD and deaths dance.

I mean, my personal take on this is that most AD champions are melee fighters/bruisers. They have to stick around the front of the fight dealing damage WHILE surviving. In contrast, AP champions are mostly backline mages with reasonably long range or otherwise a way to stay moving ( Tailyah can move while Q, Syndra can move while casting any skill ~~which is bullshit~~). Thats why a lot of what AD champs have helps them survive in some why.

That DOES NOT mean spear of Shoji is balanced. Its dumb imo but still we'll wait and see

wow almost like aps havent been doing that with longer range and less risk item 3027 item 3157 item 3102 . That build is only effective versus adcs who have been overpowered for a long long time and bruiser who have been useless for a long time and only had the use of stacking item 3071
