Its going to look hilarious with a high amount of CDR with him just constantly spewing Waves at you

  • Ripetide (E) cooldown lowered to 6/5.5/5/4.5/4 from 10 at all ranks
  • Ripetide (E) mana cost lowered to 40/50/60/70/80 from 60/70/80/90/100
  • Ripetide (E) AP ratio lowered to .3 from .5
  • Ripetide (E) slow duration lowered to 1.25 from 2 seconds

And they decreased the shield, which makes no sense at all , and decreased the amount of slow, which is a little bit stupid because adc's will not be catch twice on his E because of mobility

They reduced the shield damage because he is going to be using E far more often than on live. Basically they are making it less easy to just destroy Naut's damage by removing his shield. Now you just need to stay away from him because he is going to E you every 4 seconds.

Before the changes Nautilus already has massive mana management issues. I don't expect him to be able to spam his e in fights, but I think now he will atleast be able to use his e at each of his jungle camps- letting him clear a little easier.

He will certainly have a lot more impact with it, but I think its mainly meant to somewhat help teamfighting and mostly help his clear.

You can actually use E twice in a camp now which is interesting for only 20 more mana.
