I mean, Ezreal E has been ignoring CC and disjointing hooks ever since his release and nobody has a problem with it so why have with riven? Besides the timing is a lot more strict and it is about 10 times harder than ez pressing E when he gets hit by something.

In Ezreal's case, if the E animation starts before CC, it goes off, much like Ezreal/Lux/Kassadin/Cass ults.
Completely nullifying CC is much different than having an uninterruptible animation.

Meep Man2 votesBecause Ezreal E is a cast time and the dash itself doesn't deal damage commonly when used to escape CC. Plus, Riven's main weakness revolves around applying CC to her, so it's a much bigger deal here than there.
