No rune choice other than 
support difference on top of jungle difference is insane.
mid lane playing poorly? Have fun getting electrocuted by some random mage with

as a (former) adc main here is another reason
supports. even if shield/heal sups are op and in meta, what you most likely see is a full ap lux or brand. who deal 25% of your hp bar at level 3 if they spent 2 points in the same skill. brand being the best example for this as its IMPOSSIBLE to dodge his w if he casts it right on top of you. even with t1 boots you are too slow to get out of it.
They are also able to kill an entire team in a few seconds...
GA is objectively better than zhonyas and ninja tabi does very little later on.
All the other issues you brought up are to do with the team, not the role.
Are ADCs rough to play: aboso-fucking loutely. U cannot think about surviving an assasin till ur 3rd PD item the botlane is decided 75% by the support including what champion they pick as well as the synergy with their support. The ADCs themselves are such an unbalanced role to the point where MF can have a 27% PR and 52WR and senna could have 53WR with Aphelios existing. They all do very similair tasks so the better ADCs are usually just all round better. (Xayah vs Kai sa every game remeber. Now its Aphelios vs Senna with an occasional Ezreal pick).
But are they Weak, FUCKNO cuz what happens is after the PD, Qss in some cases and GA an assasin just cant 1 shot u (yes they still deal a lot to u but they also leave themselves open and both enchanters and tank supports can defend you. They Scale up super well and it just gets to the point lategame where they 3 shot squishy champs and if you happen to not have an insane armour based tank then you are just done. (And yes tanks do fell very shitty to play against to the point where if they dont have a tank you kinda win but that supports the previous part of the comment). Here I am not even mentioning ADCs in other roles but its not like vayne top is fair or even possible to fight.
Side Note: Zonyas is an incredibly broken item. Seekers while also granting AP gives more Armour than GA and Zonyas gives 75AP enough to do a bit of damage while loosing out sustain and waveclear. Mages (Especially assasins with Zonyas) would be able to freely fight their AD assasin counterparts even after a stacked seekers or at least chill under tower. This doesnt aply to only ADCs but all squishier champs that mages with a Zonyas and Tabi can 1 shot you
Guys, stop complaining about roles, it's clearly that botlane is free food for 4 levels ahead midlaner and jungle. You play assassin or you suffer in s10 soloqueue
The top reason ADCs have it rough are engage supports.
Let's be clear though. ADCs are still a vital part of the game. They just have way less control over their lane in this type of meta.
If you're against an engage support and your support is something else, you can't make one mistake. You're going to get camped, and your jungler can't help you.
If both supports are engage supports, then neither side can do anything.
Please do not mix all ADC together. Such ADC like 
are very weak in my opinion, and even so stong in the last season 
lost their positions due to lack of mobility whereas a meta ADC like 
are bullshit on steroids.
Support is the carry role. Adc is just there to make sure team has damage lol. Adc cannot decide how the game will go unless he/she is super fed: bot lane is support dif.

Ohhhh woe is meeeee the only staple required class role combo in the entire game for 10 years hear how horrible we have it. Poor marksmen! Such weak!
Honestly I have no clue why people would que up for ADC in soloque lol. Class and role just suck without a coordinated team.
