Does anyone else miss when skins used to mean something?

I remember when I started playing in season 3 and skins were so valuable. Now its extremely easy to get lots of skins for free and people don't really care about skins anymore.

I remember when I used to go "wow nice skin" when I saw a good skin now they are so abundant and invaluable

Skins were not more rare and valuable when it was season 3 Skins were more rare and valuable when you were a new player playing with other new players

If you were a new player now then you would once again play the game for months while seeing like 1 skin every 5 games, and 90% of the time it would just be one of the free skins like Riot Girl Tristana or whatever Garen skin they put in that early chest.

Exclusive does not equate to value. Skins have been a cosmetic effect always. Intentionally strangling out F2P players just to make it so that only folks spending $ on the game can unlock skins would not make them any better in appearance or quality. Quality on skins over the years has gone up a good deal. I might be wrong on where your coming at this from but if your logics is that removing access to skins would make them better I strongly disagree.
