I actually don't remember. When was it balanced? I just remember a very long string of champions handing down the title of OP.

Riot is trying to keep things fresh. This means there are going to be a lot of problems all the time with items and champion balance.

This is over the long-run a good strategy to keep players playing.

Yeah, the other day when I played. Seriously, nothing in this game is completely out of whack right now. We'll ignore Ekko because he hasn't gone through a patch yet and he'll likely see some kind of change. He's not even that bad either.

Not sure what you're talking about, played since before S1 and don't remember any period where everything was "balanced".
