Can people on this board stop pretending Soraka is weak?

I don't care what her winrate is, if played correctly and well, she's honestly one of the best supports at the moment. If you try to play her how she used to be played where you're a non interactive fountain for your carry where you heal them, restore their mana and randomly drop starcalls, then yes you are going to suck with her.

She's honestly the hardest support to play but she's incredibly rewarding if you play her properly. She doesn't need buffs.

I dont even like lcs and i played soraka right after the rework for a while and said she was a sleeper op

What? I don't even follow competitive. And yes I'm aware of the change, that's how people still try to play her (obviously she can't give mana now) since her rework and they fail miserably because you have to actually interact now.

I'm not on any bandwagon, there have been posts on the top of this page talking about how weak she is, doing true damage to herself and needing buffs, etc. It's a common complaint amongst other idiotic ones made on this board but that's a different story. The point is soraka is harder to play but she can do so much more now as a support than she was ever able to do aside from making whoever she healed walking stats. She's good, in fact she might possibly be the best support at the moment.

Ah, I misread your post.

Yes, I agree, Soraka is a very strong support champion. But I feel like everyone is clamoring for nerfs (gUt tHIS CaNCeR riTO) because she was recently played in the LCS rather than asking for buffs. She's in a perfect spot right now.

I don't know what you're talking about. I've not seen anyone say Soraka needs buffs, nor call her weak or a bad support or anything like that. All I've seen is people saying she's not the most broken thing since sliced release Xin Zhao, cancerous or in need of another rework.

IMO Soraka's very strong, possibly a little too strong, but contesting threads with the title "Soraka needs gutting no counterplay OP cancer" is still something I'm going to do. Doesn't mean I think she's weak though.

She's very squishy, but if the enemy can't reach her, she can potentially do a lot. Too bad about that whole League of Mobility thing though...

There is one competitive team that has used her successfully. By combining her with Shen, who is nerfworthy in his own right (and IIRC has already been nerfed). And even then, it's way too soon to say if someone would have found an effective counter if they had more than 2 games to do it in before resorting to bans.

My god, people think she's weak?

I mean, some people are a little grumpy about her, and were just asking for nerfs lately. Played correctly, she is the healer of league, and with her weaknesses of course. Paying your own health to heal feels painful, but landing them Q's on multiple people makes up for it :D
