Riot I have two questions to ask before the board get flooded with "SHEN REWORK OP/LAME/AWESOME" etc

  1. His passive shield, one of the main issues shen had (that me and im sure others didn't like) was the fact he's highly emphasized to be a tank, yet his shield was insanely small where bruisers Cough Riven Cough had 10x his shield and she had mobility equiped to it. The videos are usually impossible to tell of stats since you never know how the champs are tuned in them, my question is will his shield be around the same, smaller or bigger?

  2. His new W giving allies dodge, I wasn't around for the whole "why dodge was removed" fiasco but it was apparently too strong and not only that but Jax who is currently one of the strongest meta champs atm and is considered stupid because of such a function, how do you think putting an AoE dodge ability will work out? I noticed the area was small which might be the balance for it but it still seems kinda silly

For 1, they've said before that he'll be getting significantly more self-shielding than he got before. Exact numbers will be revealed when the PBE datamining is complete.

For 2, dodge was removed when it was a stat champions could buy and it basically served to make certain champions passively immune to autoattacks. Temporary dodge abilities like Jax's or this don't have the same issue. They can be strong, but they aren't inherently broken and there is plenty of room to balance them and they champions they are attached to. It has the potential to be strong, but it can be played around (particularly with the limitation of being linked to Shen's sword), which is perfectly fine.

As someone who loves playing AoE heavy mages, I love that new W.
