Why in this game is possible to destroy enemy base, have base intact and lose in a death timer?

What is the fking logic behind this?

You destroy enemy base to nexus, retreat since low. Then enemy has a lucky TF and can destroy your base and win the game in a death timer.

At 50 minutes, maybe.

Why do you find this normal at 50 minutes, or any minute?

When is this normal to clearly hold the lead for 49 minutes and lose at JUST ONE bad teamfight?_ (i'm NOT referring to hold the lead for 49 minutes and then slowly losing the game in 2-3 teamfights)_

It's no different than holding the lead in a race for 299 laps, and losing because someone passed you on the last lap. Part of winning is knowing how to close out a game that far ahead. It's not a "Lucky teamfight", the game isn't based on luck.

Because at that point everybody has a full build, no matter their actual performance and death timers are around 60 seconds. As long as more than 2 people are alive it should be possible.

Point is, your original post is not talking about that and I am simply telling you that what you're saying is an exaggeration and not possible.

Sounds like a long drawn out match. There are plenty of games where you can pull off a last second win.

if only the base reinforces itself in these longer situations that would be the logically answer basewise i mean if my Champions died and i seen a invading force far off approaching i would reinforce the best i could maybe minions could reinforce towers during that moment or speed up death timers of course the leader of the team with designate that by voting after champ select maybe at fountain.

are you complaining about comebacks? i mean they are a huge part of any moba , a team does not lose the game until their nexus blow and so there will be those sweat victories where you win with your nexus standing alone.

No, I'm not complaining about comebacks, I'm complaining about meticulously building an advantage just insta-lose at 1 mistake

If the enemy team would: win the TF, destroy the base, even the odds and then win at the next TF and win the game, it would be OK. But I'm not referring to that case!

the only way to fix this imo is to release buybacks, which could be an ok choice but not sure if needed in this game

Or make a rule that to destroy nexus you need to destroy exact or more the number of inhibs you have down

Make the 2 nexus turrets get a short damage and resistance boost after the first base tower is destroyed

thats bull shit for the first one and unneeded if the enemy splited a lot and managed to take lucky inhibs when we went for a better objectives such infernos/barons/elders ect ect they should not be reworded with the fact we have to take multi sides

, the second one most likely wont stop the one base take down.
