I’m seriously confused because what was so fun about seeing Hecarim, Zed and Fizz every game? If you had a hecarim on your team it was a GUARANTEED win period. It wasn’t fun for both side. Literally everyone complained that the same champs were always getting played and you were looked down on if you chose a broken champion.
Don’t get me wrong, this new version is shitty but don’t act like the original was that much better.

that problem was also present in the original mode if you didn't pick the top tier champions.
it was kind of a cycle of it getting worse day after day
someone chooses say darius because he mains him, but then game after game of URF he keeps getting stomped by hecarim, darius, fizz, evelyn etc so he's liket ''god dammit I want to win A GAME AT LEAST'' and so he also picks the most OP champion which then causes someone else to go through the same etc etc I can tell you as someone who liked playing some fun picks who happened to be weak picks in the original urf for me 99% of the time it was me with a average or weak champion vs top tier curbstomping champions

I get your point, no worries. What I'm saying is, even people don't like it, remove the bottom tier champs from the roster, and what one person said, give a ban phase, THEN random champs are doled out.
Elkington1 votesThe reason Riot changed URF to random in the first place was due to all the whining. It was so bad that people would tell you what you could and couldn't play in champ select. There's just no winning with this game mode and the rest of us that don't care about URF to begin with are stuck with it, with no other alternatives.

The urf meta will be built, it will get stale in about 2-4 days, and then we will just have to deal with some 10+ BALANCE URF RITO threads a day instead of the 20+ I WANT URF, ARURF SUCKS, Game mode X sucks bring back urf.
