Autofill, why I hate it, why its crap for the game...

I main support. My que times have been INCREASED.

OK, thats fine, the que times are shorter so everyone is enjoying the game more... Nope.

Every lobby has one or more people begging to be a role other than what the system assigned them. People are getting roles they have no clue how to play and feeding in them tilting the hell out of everyone around them.

So people are getting into matches 1 to 2 minutes faster, to have a 20+ minute match they hate because a jungle/mid main got ADC and the bot/mid got TOP. Yes, que times are down... if you arnt a support, then they are up. The matchs are just crap though, and the lobby is a swap meet of "can I be X please?"

Im not saying autofill is a bad idea, so much as the execution is boneheaded and needs tweeking.

As things are though, its making the game worse. Im constantly having to support assclown ADCs who have no clue what theyre doing in a duo lane... then they want to blame me cause Im support. The match drages on and people can tell its not me its the clueless ADC. Im not having fun, no way the clueless ADC is having fun, and the others watching the dumpsterfire that is botlane arnt having fun... WHY!? Cause autofill is screwing the game up.

I think it's a dumb idea, and kind of defeats the purpose of assigned roles altogether.

It's also unnecessary for certain tiers. At low and mid ELO, queue times are entirely bearable, so why are people being autofilled to shave off 10 seconds?

It needs to be tweaked if they keep it, and cause it to ONLY occur when queue times are out of hand, and even still, it should be an option.

"Warning: Matchmade games at your play level are currently experiencing high queue times. Consider enabling autofill for a shorter wait."

If people want to endure long queue times for their preferred roles, LET THEM! I see NO harm in this.

I can see a few problems with it being entirely optional, as in like 3% of players ever do it so its like it doesnt exist. I do like the idea of it getting enabled once average que times hit a certain duration though.

Sadly, Rito has now made the support position the worst it has been in a long time with this. Support is already gated by the ADC, and is totally screwed with a player that has little to no experience there. Good job Rito, you made support feel even worse than it sometimes dose already.

Im a support main and Im honestly considering dropping it till this "auto heres your baddie ADC fill" goes away... Or hell just quitting the game if I cant enjoy support anymore.

At this rate its going to devolve into people locking champs and going to the lane they want and demanding others play around them like blind pick. Half the players get a role they dont want/arnt good at, the other half are forced to suffer them.
