I was in promos and hoped that someone else would dodge.
dodging in promos counts as a loss regardless of the circumstances.
Considering the frequency which I've won games that appear lost causes at the start: I don't see the logic behind dodging a game either. You're basically trying to tell your fortunes from tea leaves.
The troll on your team could just be trying to force someone to dodge so they could play with their skype buddies and go into tryhard mode once the game is underway, they could be smurfing and capable of making anything work, they could legitimatly main awkward champions, the enemy team could have even worse communication and teamwork, the enemy team could have even more detrimental trolls, the enemy team could be down a member - you never know how a game's going to end until the game's over.
I waited until the very end maybe someone else would leave, but about 10 seconds before I dodged.
If you don't dodge at the beginning of a game you don't want to play you're wasting a lot of time.
I can accept an occasional dodged game from someone miss-clicking the wrong match type and existing before bans get under way - but waiting until team communication, bans, and picks are well under way to dodge at the last second is incredibly irritating.
You're also wasting the time of 9 other people whenever you dodge, which multiplies the man-hours you effectively waste 9 fold.
1 person trumping the wills of 9 other also makes dodging rather undemocratic.
APPARENTLY, the game decided to continue on without me anyway. So it's bad enough that I don't get a free dodge in MONTHS for my PROMOs (Which I lost from dodging, depressed about that)
I've seen that happen before where people wait until the last second to dodge, then they can't re-connect but they're counted as dodging the game by the client so it doesn't let them in other games either.
You could easily avoid that situation by being more courteous and dodging at the very beginning of a game or just playing it through.
I also got put in lower priority queue and got a 5 game chat restriction.
For dodging ONCE in MONTHS of no dodges, and because you decided to carry on the game anyway.
That doesn't seem that sever, and you did dodge a promotional game.
