because Stopwatch is a problem and they have to remove it, but they're scared that ADCs won't be able to get it anymore.

Whisper875 votesThey changed GA because it was either too weak to be good tanks, or became mandatory on tanks when they buffed the resistances on it. Tanks don't care about the passive unless there is at least SOME durability on it.
On the other hand GA is kind of the only answer to assassins for an ADC who doesn't have an enchanter support, but for a while now ADC's have not been able to afford building a purely defensive item without gimping themselves super hard. I mean it feels real bad even if you go Mercurial Scimitar and GA both into a team with 0 tanks, still feels like you are tickling them. So basically you have to choose one or the other and if it's a katarina, Zed, Talon you don't want QSS.
I really think they should just remove stopwatch from the GA and Stoneplate recipe and make it only available to AP champs via Zhonyas.
AirKingNeo1 votesYeah, the issue was tank junglers (Gragas) rushing it right after Cinderhulk and thought it was unhealthy for tanks. It should be a carry item and the change into a Skirmisher-ADC item was good.

Seriously, it would be much more useful to make a post about what you think mage itemization needs. That discussion will prep people for Tuesday's PBE patch that will include a lot of those changes so everyone can discuss them more (and Riot will likely see that feedback, especially if it's a thread that gains a lot of traction).
If you don't give Riot a chance to impress you, then it shouldn't surprise you when you don't like the changes. I find that most of the people that try to rationalize Riot's decisions and understand their goals are much happier with the game in general.

They can't balance all the factors in the game, that much is clear. It's apparently TOO big for them.
