I have played for 7 years and never had such a bad streak as in Season 7 (Evelynn main)

What did you do? my Eve-chan feels so much weaker and she has not received any direct nerfs.

I can consistently score the highest damage on my team and yet have a VERY difficult time winning matches.... the only way I can win is if I absolutely obliterate the enemy team and have a score of like 25-3. Anything less is a guaranteed loss.

EDIT: So some guy at master level says Evelynn is not good anymore. She has not been nerfed and other junglers have not been (greatly) buffed, so what went wrong? I've hit Diamond playing Evelynn multiple years so something has gone horribly wrong and don't say it's me because my stats per game are very good.

What went wrong? I don't want to switch mains but it is becoming dangerous to continue playing Evelynn..... I could get much better results playing something easy like Ivern or Graves.

The fact that you judge people's opinions based on their ranks and not the contents of what they have to say already reveals what kind of a snob you are. The great SKT T1's coach is a brilliant and visionary strategist and have extensive understanding of the game (it shows), but he himself is Plat. Not even part of the "Diamond Pride". Just because people don't have the mechanics or even willingness to climb ladder doesn't mean they may understand the game better than you or know things that you just write off as "bronze argument". Not much for an open mind eh? Why even pose these questions when you consider your opinions as "facts"?

While it is true that arguments must be judged on their own merit, MERIT OF THE INDIVIDUAL when it comes to performance is a huge factor.

Have you read anything I've written? BRONZE DOES NOT MEAN THEY'RE RETARDED. They may be bronze because they simply don't have the reaction speed (mechanics, apm, etc.). They may be bronze because they don't care to climb. They may be bronze because they don't have time to play 7 games a day to climb, and maybe only play a game every other day. That doesn't mean some of them may be more intelligent and understand the game more than you do. Is that not merit of the individual?

Jennifer Lopez, Steve Jobs, Steve Harvey immediately comes to mind who were once homeless in their lives. That doesn't fucking mean they know how to earn money or doesn't how to have a successful career. They happen to be in the dump and life didn't work out, etc. Then there's you who look at them and simply write it off as "oh they must be retarded when it comes to money. Duh".

Have you read what I've written? You should understand basic logic but you have either failed to do so or chosen to ignore it.

Let's break it down to simple terms; If I was an up-and-coming boxer, would I rather follow advice from Julio Ceasar Chavez, Mike Tyson and Rocky Marciano .... or from some hobo who gets into drunken fist-fights ? this is the level of difference between Diamond Pride and Bronze Chaos.

Why are you building Hunter's Potion?

1- Evelynn has no sustain. 2- It has the greatest gold efficiency of any item in the game. 3- Evelynn's mana costs have been jacked up over and over. 4- Runeglaive has been removed so can't rely on that for mana anymore. 5- It's very cheap (Relates to #2).

You have never been Diamond so I don't expect you to understand this.

The fact you would not take even the time to search my name quickly before making such a claim tells me you probably aren't serious about getting an answer (or even just improving in general), but here it is: The reason Hunter's Potion is not good is because the gold investment early on is not worth when you can use that toward getting items that give you better clear speed/ganks (upgrading jungle item, boots for movement speed). Refillable pot + smite provides more than enough sustain, even for Eve. I know it seems cheap but that amount of gold is still significant (when you think about it, 250 gold is almost equal to a kill).

Sure that's true, but again.... every single data point I mentioned is crucial on Evelynn.

I've played against Evelynn many times and when I do, I pray that they don't build Hunter's Potion because that makes them very easy to invade.

I never see anyone build Hunter's Potion, on Eve or any other jungler. The reason you find Eve's who don't build hunter's potion are easy to invade is because they probably are not kiting the camps properly at your elo and thus taking more dmg then they should.

A lot of items are "cost efficient" but are not the best things to build. For example, item 1056 is extremely cost-efficient, but people generally only build one, because it's better to start building other items (even though the cost is really small for Doran's). Also, the cost-efficiency of many mana items like item 3027 are through-the-roof on all objective accounts, but in reality mana doesn't give you any real combat stats (except if you're Ryze ), so the efficiency is not as good as it seems.

I tend to agree. I rarely see it built.

Evelynn in general is easy to invade, but her low defensive stats and awful early clears means she is low HP in her own jungle early and even towards mid game. Reducing this to a minimum is a good thing.

A lot of items are "cost efficient" but are not the best things to build. For example, item 1056 is extremely cost-efficient

Oh come on, I expect better from someone that was part of Diamond Pride.

We ALL know that Doran's X were items built to be extremely cost efficient , or at least that was the idea. The trade-off is that they upgrade into nothing.

This is a possibility.

But the statistics don't bare this out, I consistently do the most damage and almost never have a bad score .... the only times I have a negative score are when my team overwhelmingly feeds.

Something is going horribly wrong, a Master level player said Evelynn isn't good anymore... I believe him, but the question is why? she hasn't been nerfed and no one else has been greatly buffed.

She's always felt weak to me and that's in low elo. Even when she gets fed it's pretty easy to shut her down which should be harder in low elo.

her early clear is brutal but if she gets a few kills she's a monster, i went 0/3 once, got 3 kills and finished the game 22/6, she's actually really strong if anything, not broken (except her passive) but still very viable

Actually, if you filter by champion you have 60% w/l with evelyn last 20 games.

I dont know what are you complaining about, tbh. Learn to play the other champions, that's all.

And actually I dont give a F about rankeds, I just went to silver to proof myself I wasnt bronze and stopped, rankeds are pure unfair shit, I dont feel like to waste my time with that. And if you are talking about this season ranks, a gold scrub isnt much better than an unranked scrub, tbh.

Anyway, me, or whoever, being "bronze chaos" doesnt make your games different. Your games with other champions appart from evelyn are pure trash. Still you came here and complained about evelyn, when you have a 60% W/L ratio with her. Lol at you.

I legit don't know what's up with SoloQ atm, everything just spirals into destruction and pain and I cannot crack my way at plat...Meanwhile I can play comfortably in Flex.

I personally blame powercreep and the fact that you cannoy really trust your teammates to not do a mistake that will snowball everything. Everyone just plays so yolotastic and wants to carry no matter what.

It could be a result of her itemization slowly getting nerfed as time went on (the AP hit from the nerfed Rylai's being one) as well as the recent slashing of the damage masteries across the board.
