i dont think nocturn ulti can be considered healthy anymore with the state of damage creep

in season 3-5 i never really had an issue with it... it starting getting annoying in 6-7 and now its just absurd

the burst damage he can do plus the over 2 second fear and the spellshield means u really have no way of trading him after his ulti

i feel is instead of losing all vision.. u lose all vision NOT seen from champions

so all vision from wars and minions goes dark... but u can still see your allies and thier little bubble of vision, i do get that the cooldown is long... but when its up. its pretty much a free kill.

last game i even knew which ally he was going toward.. i was running toward them.. but i stil had no idea wtf was going on in that fight.

i feel i should be allowed to see at least the circle around my 4 allied champs.. if nothing else

Wouldnt.it.be useless if vision was that way? Noc has.no close the gap or embarassingly strong skills. And.as.u state power creep means also that if he s. Behind he may explode in ganks.

He is literally a dualist, he's good at 1 thing only and thats winning a 1v1. Anything he can do he can only do once to one person at a time for significant cool downs. If nocturn is alive don't let your squishes be alone. thats it. You shouldn't be able to trade him if he ults you, thats kinda the point.

"Dude its like you can't trade with Nasus after he ults! he gets a lot of health back! does damage just by standing near him, and his Q is basically a one shot!! Not to mention he's so tanky 0 counter play."

You can say it about anything, when an ability does its purpose in the correct situation it's supposed to work. Nocturn's ultimate works the best when people are split up and vision is low, if those conditions are met he is strong, if those conditions are not he is weak. End of story.
