Haven't really used him since the rework. What's the story with those barrels?

Tedious early game, but if you're good with barrels, really satisfying late game.

It's not a fulfilling sort of satisfying for me, though, even in those rare times when I land a nice barrel combo, it doesn't feel thaat great.

Exactly, his Barrels dont feel Strong, which is his only Strength. And Smart people would easily be able to dodge them, and not only that you only have 3 cap, and even with 45% CDR to get 3 barrels back, you need to wait 16.5 Seconds. The Godam 6.4 nerf was not needed, 5 barrels made him a hypercarry and they screwed it to 3

Huh?

His barrels are strong as shit, especially against squishies. Once you get IE+Triforce, a lucky crit does easily over 1k damage.

Late game 6 seconds for each barrel is pretty damn good. You only need 2 for a reliable combo that is nearly impossible for melees to dodge.

On the plus side, it's fucking impossible not to get farmed even if you feed early because you can waveclear from a screenlength away at no mana cost as early as the start of midgame. Then you can just split for farm and ult to help teamfights. There's no keeping this guy down aside from going super ham all game from level 1 as a snowbally early game champ with the sole mission of suppressing gangplank.

not worth it he's impossibly hard to play early game for a "I worked so hard just for this?" pay off you're better off getting someone like Bard,. . . ye Bard > Gangplank
