All of my friends have left the game because the quality of the game has dropped

We were a group of 7 college friends who really enjoyed spending time together on this game. It's a good game with a lot of replayability. I've been playing since 2013 and I've invested a lot of time and money into it (no regrets). Lots of good memories were made and I'll always be grateful for that.

Sadly, I've been playing alone for almost a year now after the others decided to leave. They all felt that the game had made a turn for the worse; damage is so instantaneous and high you can't even react anymore. The pacing of the game is weird and many games are too one sided. I'm was so disappointed to hear they felt that way but there wasn't anything I could do.

Lately, I've been avoiding SR and playing only ARURF (ironic I know) because SR games just feel awful to play. I don't need to list the problems because everyone already knows that they are. I'm just making this thread to say that Riot has lost good players. It's such a shame.

I'm not saying that the game is in best state, but on the other hand you have been playing for +-6 years which is a lot(9 years for me). And in every game you will have this feeling, I had it in WoW, Runescape etc., you understood "everything" in the game, so it's no longer that kind of fun, plus good ol nostalgie doing its work as well.

I know many ppl that left bcs of how "shitty" the game is, but in the reality, I think, they just had enough, even though every game of LoL is different, after thousands of games you will start to recognize some patterns and it will truely become repetitive.

I have few games, e.g. Diablo 2, that I replay again from time to time for that nostalgia feeling and fun of course, but LoL isn't like that it keeps evolving and I can understand why many ppl don't like it.

So my point is many ppl overplayed this game, again, there is many things that are bad/broken etc. but this is big factor as well.

Ppl love to say something like "Season X was best, bcs of XY" and I bet they would brag anyway.

One sparkle of hope is that in near future, there will be more private servers on different patches, for now I know only League of Memories, but it is in early stages.

Toxicity is big part for me, and we can argue about reasons for that.

p.s. I apologize for not being word-perfect in English

That’s typically what happens when you listen to the wrong people, especially when it comes to balance issues. Top lane is not even that good right now and one of my mains just got gimped.

The game is "meh" currently, but I keep watching and waiting for a time when it seems fun again. I really don't believe that this is 'burnout', just that the individual skill in the game has really evaporated.

-The quality of League as a competitive and strategical game has dropped. -The League community quality dropped because League in its core itself dropped. -Other games also started to impact the League playerbase each year when they found new variety to try out. -Korea winningg everything dropped the interest of the League playerbase interest.

TL;DR. Apex Legends.
