Bronze fucking 4. I carried every single game. The only game I lost, I was 24/7/9 on tristana.

you know they made all the challengers, masters ,and diamonds go into plat/high gold , so all the plats went into lowgold/silver, golds went into silver and silvers went into bronze

You were bronze 1 in season 5. I got silver 4 and was gold season 5. I'm just climbing out right now. And actually, all of the players in silver right now are high gold and low plat.

But the short answer is when the season reset they did (old MMR+1200)/2= new MMR then your placements affected where you would end up by a division or two.

My mmr last season was probably around 800.

800+1200=1000. I won 9 placements. How the fuck did I get bronze 4?

Since you used the word probably I'm guessing you never checked what it was on other sites so it could have been lower since you can really tank you're MMR in Bronze and then go on winning streaks and climb divisions (even climb an entire tier to silver) and still have Bronze MMR.

So my guess is you just over estimated what your MMR was before... It's likely somewhere around 870-939 (like you could have just gotten unlucky and gotten 939 and been one away from Bronze 3)
