Why Do Mid Laners and ADC's feel entitled to my BUFFS?

Dreadlocks··5 votes·1,512 views

If i'm the one carrying and you guys are feeding, why do you insist on making me smite my buff just to secure my own buff from you? You don't deserve it, you don't need it. While you are farming your lane trying to catch up, i could be using it to impact top lane etc.

YOU ARE NOT ENTITLED TO MY BUFFS JUST BECAUSE YOU ARE MID/ADC.

They are team resources that you are responsible for. As long as the team is getting them there's no claim issue. There is an allocation issue but the point is that they don't belong to you. As a midlaner I am not entitled to our buff nor are you. But I will take it if I think I need to. If you are carrying I can more or less promise you that someone else needs that buff more than you do. If youre actually carrying.

No, just no. Mid lane is your minions, Top lane has his, and bot lane has theres. Obviously after laning phase that all changes. But like Lanes Jungle has their mobs.

No, mid lane has the entire map. Part of why you put certain champs mid is so they can go anywhere at ANY time.

If mid takes your jungle that means you are gonna need to invade or gank sooner. That may be a good or bad thing but if you are "carrying" it shouldn't be a problem right? You don't need to waste too much time on jungle anyways if you could be ganking. Your laner is probably safer taking that farm and you could go take theirs if you really need the gold. There's really no problem there unless you actually need the buff at that moment.

Mid has the entire map, jungle has a midlaner

If you need something ask the midlaner. Double ganks, invades, whatever. Or get the support or adc or even top sometimes. If someone takes the buff you should be able to get something out if, nobody owes you anything its just an opportunity for a jungler to take advantage of.

yeah leme give my 0/4/0 mid laner blue buff becuz he is entitled to it.

ScissorsNstuff2 votes

Nobody is entitled to it. Its a resource just like minions. He either gets it or he doesn't. You either stop crying about it and use the fact he got it to your advantage or your bawl like a useless child about it.

Dreadlocks1 votes

Ironically the mid laner is the 1 who brawls like a useless child when i dont donate it.

ScissorsNstuff2 votes

its not yours to donate.

If you need it then take it from the teammate that put in the time and effort to get it. Or just go take some cs from them.

Dreadlocks3 votes

You clearly are missing the point. Thus not worth talking to.

ScissorsNstuff1 votes

I'm not missing the point. You're just intentionally dropping hints and then ignoring anything important I specifically separated from the response to it.

It is a team resource You are owed nothing You own nothing

If you cannot convince your teammate that it isn't worth taking then one of you is a shit player and you need to deal with it. But no matter what solution you choose there is nothing stating that this belongs to you nor does it logically belong to you in any way.

Maybe in dota that is true. League, no.

ScissorsNstuff1 votes

Its the same in all games, if you don't like it then play on a real team instead of going to yoloqueue then getting mad when people yolo

I asked why certain lanes feel like they are entitled to buffs and you start an argument over it. There is no debate here..

ScissorsNstuff2 votes

No you asked why they are entitled to YOUR buffs.

They aren't your buffs.

Dreadlocks2 votes

Yes they are.

That's why you don't donate buffs unless the laner is fed

What if I'm ahead and that blue buff could make it so I can be more dominant in lane?

If I'm behind and my jungler is ahead I don't ask or take blue because I'm behind, although if i'm only a little behind that buff could make it so I can catch back up.

Dreadlocks2 votes

If you are ahead sure, if you are keeping up in cs and just getting ganked a lot sure.. but if you are losing in CS and just straight up losing lane. I'm not going to promote the idea of transferring the blue buff to the enemy mid laner or jungler.

MrHaZeYo1 votes

Well of course, I never personally ask or try to get it when I'm getting shit on.

I am how ever tired of being ganked out my ass these last couple of days lol, good god it sucks when Top, Jungler, and Support come to gank me every 30 seconds.

I understand your feelings and I'm the first saying that some ppl simply don't deserve to win.

But having the entire power of your team into the hands of a single character is dangerous, the moment you (or whoever the fed one is) is taken down then it's a walk in the park for enemies.

The best thing a fed guy can do is making life easier for his/her team mates and feed them too either by securing kills for them or giving them assists and farm when they can't get the former. This obviously implies also giving them jungle buffs when it makes sense (meaning that if there is a mana intensive midlaner then giving him a blue won't hurt you a lot if you are lets say Rek'Sai or Lee Sin).

Here maybe this perspective will change your mind towards what you think you deserve as the jungler.

  1. The absolute easiest way to get invaded is for your mid to lose their lane. I love when they come to grab blue because I know they will be able to put pressure on their lane and potentially put in some deep wards. Try to request that as soon as they are given "your" blue buff. If they push their wave and roam it allows you the option to follow them or swoop into their lane and pick up some easy CS and potentially some mid turret damage.

  2. If you put a slow and DoT on an adc it will allow them a much bigger area of positioning, so you don't have to worry as much when it comes to peeling for them or switching targets mid fight to keep their silly butts alive.

  3. The ADC and support typically help you get your first buff anyhow, so that it speeds up your progression.

  4. The best way to look at the jungle position is as a baby sitter/play maker. You get to watch the map while you kill minions in safety (usually) and see who needs your help the most.

Me typically I don't care if my mid is 1/6 at 15 minutes I will still offer them blue just because I know they need as much help as they can get. Anything that will help keep them alive other than me baby sitting their lane is a good trade off to me.

There is a whole lot more to it like knowing power spikes, understanding if mid lane is down cs because they suck or because of the match up whereas sometimes a blue can turn the tides, if they're feeding and keep making the same mistakes, playing like they're still in their last game where they went 16-2-9 or w/e.. It isn't all that cut and dry, but I will typically ALWAYS donate the 2nd, 3rd round of buffs unless they instantly hand it over due to lack of warding and getting ganked or just over extending and not even getting close to a kill for it. Things like handing it over due to a failed attempt at a bot lane gank or dragon fight wouldn't bother at all. Sometimes you just know your team is bad and then you just greed up and take everything you can. Chances are you will get better result by sharing those buffs after the 2nd round.

If you're carrying, just take everything. If you're not, then give it to the teammate who is. Simple as that.

Why do kids who have a bad game insist on ranting on the forums to people who really don't give a shit? Using words like "you guys" as if anyone browsing this forum was actually in his games. item 3070 Amumu item 3070
