Falling in love with Renekton jungle

Seriously the most underplayed, underappreciated position for everyone's favorite croc. I do EXTREMELY WELL every, single game. And I'm not just talking stats. I'm talking about my general impact on the game. IMO Hes top tier jungler right now. His clears are good, he is tanky, he has sustain, he has burst, he has a gapcloser (a fantastic one at that), and HARD CC. Seriously, this guy has everything you could want in a jungler. He is EASILY my best jungler right now. Why does nobody consider him jungle? Unless I'm missing something, everyone just made a mistake.

It's probably due to he cant exactly abuse his earlygame dominance in the jungle. and (most likely) cripple a laner completely, ya'know?

without repetitive ganks that is, in which your giving up the same exact thing he does in lane, except set yourself behind.

atleast that's how I see renekton jungle, its not bad by any means. but that's probably why hes not seen jg a lot

it might be that you give top to someone who is more gold dependent AND need early game dominance Gangplank Darius but you don't want to play Lee Sin.

I don't like the argument that "they do better in top lane and you set yourself behind". I don't like that argument because saying X champion plays better with more XP and gold can be applied to every single champion and therefore makes it not valid...

And you can abuse his early game dominance by ganking early. His early game burst is insane. And if you can save 50 fury for a gank its pretty much a free kill. Just E in and W them and thats a free kill.

Anyway to answer your question, its because a lot of people are bad junglers and can't think for themselves.

Many claim that the jungler isn't supposed to win the lane for laners, to wash their hands clean of any responsibility of controlling a lane matchup or god forbid, actually paying attention to the game. Plenty just copy guides and because they can't CS for shit as a laner and believe picking a champion makes them good when they have no idea how their champion works as a jungler. Especially when they really needed to turn on their brain and do something that isn't an autopilot clear.

The reality is true janglers are harder to find and the rest are basically liabilities. The only people that would know are the true janglers that have enough confidence and skill to work out a jungle variant of a champion.

Yea, trying new things is just too damn hard. Nobody can even provide me with a legitimate reason why its not really great... but that doesn't matter cuz hes not meta hur de hur

I'm just curious about the rage managment similarly of what Tryndamere Jungle suffers. IS hard to come out of the jungle with enough Fury for a gank and going without fury just cripples your damage, Also there are people with similar kit/function that does it better than him, right now Lee Sin comes to mind with high burst early game, CC soft and hard (althogh his hard cc is an ultimate) and another fantastic gapcloser.

I'm not saying hes better than lee but they are obviously different. Lee is more gimicky while renekton is just a powerhouse. No big plays coming out of him, just a ton of damage, tankiness, and cc.

As far as the rage management is concerned, from playing well over 100 games renekton jungle, I can tell you its really just not hard. If you know you want to gank a lane, it is extremely easy to take a monster camp close to the lane you want to gank to build it up. Also, there are little tricks to it, so lets say I am bot and I want to run mid for a gank, but by the time I get there my rage will be gone. Well just hitting dragon once or scuttle on your way will allow you to keep that rage. His ultimate also builds rage so you can pop ult right before you go in and by the time you engage you should have enough for an empowered W.

A lot of people lose their shit over things in this game . The easiest way to find out if they're full of shit and talking out their ass, is to find that they cannot explain anything as to why something doesn't work.
