Too much impact on a single player, when its getting nerfed?

never

it's nothing new, junglers would complain about "not being impactful" if they can't solo carry when all other 4 people are losing their lanes...because you know, lol it's a teamgame so don't complain if a guy alone decides if 3 lanes will either win or lose you are getting a ganked, and also it's fine getting a gank per minute since min 3,you had your 20 seconds of laning phase why do you complain? Its because of damage. 2v1 early can do so much damage that even if you are not over extended you cant make it back to turret and live.

EVERY champ should be able to make it back to turret and live if they play safe.

The issue is that 2v1 at lvl 2 is free kill for almost any champ when the lane is even. This is 100% because of the amount of damage in the game.

not exactly, junglers were always able to do that since i started playing in S4

if anything it's because the jungler will come with a red buff + 1 level ahead so the damage will be insane, but it's not because of the "damage creep"

also they don't get punished for failing a gank, which encourage them to do this kind of things like cheesing someone, camping him, waiting in his bush for a while...all things that actually reward him even if he's failing with the player tilt, making him fall behind as CS and making hard for him trade his opponent (and eventually diving him when he's enough low)

Never. People still want to QQ about how bot lane, the lane with two people in it, the weakest tower, and is closest to dragon, has too much impact.

Bot lane is garbage now, has the 2 lowest impact roles in the game atm.

You're not telling me anything I dont know. The champions in bot are the least important thing; it's just the stuff around the lane that's important. Bot lane is literally not decided by the champs in it but by who has the better mid and jungle.

Is it the jungle role or people playing in a way that makes the jungler appear more impactful than it actually is?

In my elo people dying to a level 2 Shyvana gank is a pretty common occurrence. So is it the Shyvana or the player putting themselves in a position to die to a level 2 Shyvana that is the problem?

Look at my comment.

Damage is too hight

2v1 at lvl 2 gank with Ignite = a kill even if the laner is not overextended. Its a free kill. No skill just bad game mechanics.

The player.

I hate when people use a word to a point it's meaningless. Do you know what overpowered means? Do you REALLY want to know what "insanely overpowered" means in a video game? It means NO MATTER WHAT you CANNOT find a way to counter; 90%-100% win rate.

Do me a favor: que up in ranked as jungle role and tell me if your win rate spikes to 90%-100%. If something was "insanely overpowered" that means, without any experience, jungle role will guarantee a win.

Please... get good at the game. The more you keep changing the game because people get anal over a couple things the more the game will never rest. What happened to the good old days when META meant something; you know... META is something that develops OVER TIME... MONTHS... YEARS(look at StarCraft)... NOT 2 weeks(Riot patches). You can't tell if a champion is broken or a role is broken within a couple weeks. It takes years, bro... YEARS... even then, if it is broken, revolutionize and become the better player that beats it. Earn something for once in your life because LIFE isn't easy.

YEARS(look at StarCraft)... NOT 2 weeks(Riot patches).

Interesting you should mention this. Starcraft: Brood War's last balance patch was version 9.something. That patch was played for something like a decade before Starcraft 2 was released and eventually killed off Brood War. It's interesting to note that while no balance changes were made for the rest of Brood War's life, the meta constantly changed. Korean pros kept discovering newer and newer shit to abuse. Build orders, timing rushes, new ways to micro and macro. And I'm sure if Starcraft 2 never came out, the meta would have still been evolving today. I don't know anything about Starcraft 2 but I suspect it's a similar thing happening there.

If Riot stopped making such radical changes to balance, the meta would still change but at a much more manageable pace.

Sadly this mindset is dying out because people nowadays want instant gratification; they want Riot to "fix broken champions" or "fix broken items" or whatever their crying about. It's very sad, and it's unfortunate because Riot has no choice but to go with the crying because the people crying are the ones giving Riot their money.

People would rather have Riot make them a META and relieve their weaknesses than solving the problems themselves, learning over time and becoming better players because like I said... people nowadays want INSTANT gratification.

Look at my comment; people can't even argue against it, but rather down vote it to make themselves feel special or to hide their problems.

So...you want junglers to be supports basically. You want it so when that player comes to gank yournlanex they dont have an impact. That iswhat youare requesting.

Let alone the fact that losing your lane opens the jungler to invasions. Let alone the fact that junglers are only as impactful for as good their laner is, they shouldnt have any significant impact.

Your complaint and demand is unrealistic within the basis of the game.

saltran1 votes

This is fine, they do and they should have the highest impact on early game imo.

I know that it sounds bad because I say this as a biased jungler main.

wildfox9T2 votes

so in a teamgame it's fine if one player have more impact than others?

many junglers don't even fall off,so when i can impact the game as much as you as laner? if one guy can do more than others it's simply not fair in this kind of game,if one team have "the better laner" and other the better jungler, and the second is almost always more likely going to win it's not fine

and even assuming that it is balanced as role,it's not healty...getting cheesed lvl 3 or getting rolfstomped because your jungler won't countergank his opponent can be frustrating,it feels like your lane doesn't depend by your or enemy skills but more on which jungler will be the better

It kind of can't. Just the way the role works you can't really 'fix' it without reverting to a weakened Devourer meta.
