ENTIRELY targeted kit, invisibility, basically limitless dashes, no resource worth mentioning... yet she can INSTANTLY KILL ANYTHING SHE TOUCHES WITH ONE ITEM.

Remind me how that's balanced in any fucking way?

Um Swain, Vlad, Tank Champion that can do health percentage and shit or just pure tank with damage

These can all shit on Akali

There is counterplay to everything but everyone too busy crying about it rather than learning how to beat it

There is no counterplay to targeted abilities. None. Building items or playing certain champs is not counterplay.

So why are the easier champions rewarded far, far more than any others?

Akali and katarina are completely feast or famine. If they don't get ahead they literally become useless due to having little to no CC or utility. any sustain mage or malz dumpsters akali. Call out her roams, use pink wards, and play better. this isn't season 2 anymore stop whining and start learning.

There is tons of counter play to targeted. Predicting attacks, positioning to minimize effect, using skills like black shield, being a tank that laughs when he gets hit by a ticklish little thrown weapon, and yes buying items can be considered counter play.

Usually if it just completely screws you, you were in too deep, they are already ahead, it came from FoW (which skill shots also can so jo difference there), or you are playing an extra high mobility character and are mad that someone decided to lock you down.

TBH assassins are kinda overtuned atm due to the lack of targeted skills. Game needs more targeted skills imo. Although I do love what they did with Taric's dazzle rework. That is one big ol area stun now.

Edit: I also forgot to mention you know exactly where a targeted dash hero is going to end up everytime they use the skill. Try using Blitz/Allister it is just funny forcibly moving people when they least expect it.

Her pre 6 game is probably the weakest in the game, use that advantage to obtain a lead over her and try to shut her down before she reaches level 6. Sure once she reaches 6, her damage and dueling increases and in some match ups is a little to hard but she is easy to burst down with a little bit of CC. Also while Energy resource is obviously so much less restrictive as Mana, I feel Akali has the highest energy cost with the least amount of energy regen. So her energy is generally much lower than the other energy based champions, 2nd most energy hungry champion might be Kennen but not to sure on that.
