Conqueror: A step backwards fundamentally.
When I started in season 2, it was never possible for an auto attack based champ (aka a carry)
to engage a tank 1v1
and kill them with one exception
because she could self-peel and dealt max health true damage.
For some reason, I forget which season

was removed from the game and tanks lost a vital item.
were core items on basically every carry, this meant that with enough attack speed you could out-sustain and kill tanks 1v1 unless their ignite was up.
At this time, the only item that had grievous wounds was
which became a core item for all tanks.
RIOT realized this was an issue and after a few seasons brought back Executioner's Calling.
Further common sense showed that building an EC wasn't item efficient for tanks, so new version
was introduced.
The game was fundamentally balanced again as far as engagements with tanks and carries went and then... CONQUEROR!
These used to be our options to deal with a tank composition
or any fed carry with a lot of peel.
Now you just take CONQUEROR, pick whoever the hell you want and completely disregard armor penetration.
you better run, boy.
you better run, punk!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA DIE FOOL!
