Yes it will restrict overall communication but if you are muting only 1 out of 5 people it will not do a lot. What is more important is keeping yourself from being tilted. If you tilt, you will throw any chance of winning. It will also keep you from wanting to argue with the person. Arguing with them wastes precious time in the game. Just mute them if they are toxic.

He got very tilted and refused to mute the person because he was afraid it would restrict chat. You are basically telling me that using an option to make the game less toxic is somehow making me childish and weak minded because i don't like being called a intent feeder and a fa***t all game. Well only person who would know that question is Joe. If joe knows hes not an asshole he will just ignore bob because clearly bob doesnt know shit. Be like joe

I don't see how you could have any issue muting someone who is being toxic and rude during the game. In real life do you think joe would keep talking to bob? no. that's the same in game.

How is the person getting called names and being insulted the issue? That makes no sense? "If you are getting repeatedly attacked by someone, stop getting hit by their fists!"
So basically you are saying "you don't like getting called a f*g in game and you mute someone, you are a child". I didn't make this post about me I made this post about other people who don't have that self control. If you read the responses then you would understand.
