Please revert the Zed buff for 8.4

If you have to absolutely give him a buff in any kind of way, this is not the way to do it.

Death Mark (R) cooldown lowered from 120/100/80 to 120/90/60

Are you serious, right now Riot? Who the hell thought of this buff? This is absurd. With all the CDR in the game, Zed will be ult happy and make people even MORE frustrated playing against him. Please revert this and give him a buff elsewhere if he needs it (I don't think he needs one imo).

Now before you all Zed mains downvote and hate me, listen please before you speak. Let me show you here why I think this is a stupid buff.

On champion.gg, Zed's most frequent build is this: . Now of course not everyone builds that but it's the top build he takes, and the main part of that- he has 40 PERCENT CDR. So now, with this stupid buff of 20 seconds off a 3rd rank ult, he can now ult every 36 SECONDS!

Of course not every game will get to late game but seriously, Riot? You will have people screaming at you to revert this. Because not only late game supports will be having a hard time keeping people alive even harder now, mages will have even a harder time of defending against this.

"Oh but that makes Zed useless, hur dur Zed deserves this buff"

Bullshit. Zhonya's active, because of all the freaking Zed mains complaining, got nerfed and it now has a** 120 SECOND COOLDOWN**. Seriously, Riot. 120 compared to 36??? Zed can ult us (if enough energy), can now ult us **THREE TIMES **in the timespan that the active is down.

36 times 3= 108

36 times 4 = 144

So he can ult three times and have it almost up again by the time your Zhonya's is off cooldown.

This is pure AD bias, Riot, and needs to stop. Please revert this, now, before you make another stupid mistake.

they should just delete AD from the game.... or assassins..... rito dev team is smoking weird crap... fake nerfs and insane buffs that make no sense.... in the meanwhile certain champions aren't even viable or are crippled by not having mobility.....

and its not like any assassin needs duskblade.... they already oneshotted prior to duskblade.... they just got to oneshot in early with duskblade as well...

Zed can have a potentially 21 second r cooldown with 45% cdr and ultimate hat, but he needs some compensation for the duskblade upcoming nerfs

As someone who plays Zed, quite a fair bit too, I gotta say this buff was completely uncalled for. Assassins shouldn't be able to 100-0 a target unless massively ahead, and thats not required anymore. An assassin, should just assassinate lower health targets, punish a player who decided to stay and fight after losing 50% of their health. Instead of just, oooooooo, this person doesn't have 2.5k health, im gonna just smash my face against my keyboard and slaughter them.

And yes, thats what assassin players do, I play Zed and Talon and all them, mostly just zed, but when I play any ad Assassin, I find myself facesmashing when ahead and still killing people. I just dont get all that engaged anymore, first 5 minutes, yeah, im all in and focused, but after that, im fed and i just dont feel threatened by anyone.

I agree. Instead of buffing his cooldowns they should buff his damage output. People complaining about assassins and saying that ap mages are not op are incredibly delusional. You must have never seen Diana one shot someone or Lux, Syndra, Oriana, etc almost destroy somebody with only their ults. Then you're going to say that they only do that much damage if they're ahead and have a lot of items but that could be said for Zed too. Buy armor boots and Zed barely does half your health with a full combo plus electricity.

This buff is much less egregious than you're making it out to be.

Anyone's PTSD with Zed comes from laning vs him and getting all in'd, and that buff will change nothing about that.

Zed 's ultimate with 40% CDR has a 36 sec cooldown, with 45% using the rune from the Inspiration tree Cosmic Insight makes it a 33 sec CD, wtih Ultimate Hat along the CDR , it goes to flat 30 secs, this buff made Zed able to have R almost instantly after a fight, but as a Zed player for 3 seasons I don't think this is a big deal, early you get nothing, R level 2 -10 secs, but you will have 25% CDR, so you still have a ~60 sec CD, don't elt Zed scale good to late and if it's not enought Zed can be very easily countered with the following:

Banning, simple as that if you can't use counterplay, ban him :)
Counter picking with , , , , and , versus decent/good ones even the best players can be screwed hard for the rest of the game/camping with a tanky jungler and asking botlane with CC to roam mid for a 4 man gank, not many chances to survive if he's pushed the lane, ask me how I know.
CC, is a farely squishy champion, kneeling down to the power of CC, have a high CC comp and you should be fine, unless you don't react in time and your already dead, and , are good picks against IMO, of course you have to look if the matchup is favorable for your lane. If you are so scared of the buff might even consider dodging that game, CONSIDERING that he wasn't banned.
Low elo players shouldn't be really feared, since they wont really get any use out of this buff, higher elo will use AND abuse this.
Conclusion - more active during team fights, scales a little bit better, always has ultimate with 45% CDR late game.

P.S. Don't say I'm against the ones that want the buffs reverted cause I'm an OTP, just giving you some tips how to play against the buffs and proving you that there shouldn't be this scared. ^^
