Why do people still think Jax is OP?
Nobody plays him in high elo or lcs and he has like a 48% win rate
Meanwhile Janna has a 55% win rate and over 20% play rate

people just have a shit list that champions never leave. you'll also see people complain about vayne and riven sometimes despite both of them being very bad right now
Because he "feels" unfair. Every area where Jax is strong is 1v1 and personal to his enemies, that being his dueling potential, his blocking auto attacks (which you as the enemy must actively right click him to see the interaction), having the base defense to survive any single person's burst, having the DPS to shred down a lone tank, and by god be ready to explode if you're squishy and he hits you thrice.
In the areas he's legitimately powerful, his opponents are often in extremely one sided fights in Jax's favor. In the areas where he is particularly weak, Jax's presence may fall to the wayside (for example how he's squishy relative to most Bruisers in a team fight, easily leading to him disappearing without anyone notice if enough strikes just happen towards him). All it does is paint an op perception of him, even if in reality, from a macro standpoint, he may even be underperforming.
Well I prefer a Jax 3 times before a YI, at least you can hit Jax while he leaps at your face, instead Yi becomes immune, he will crit you and he will get boosts on your face, also if you focus him he will use his W to avoid most of the damage, and now he is building tanky thanks to Titanic being an on-hit, which is perfect for his double-hit + sated combo.
If you're playing against glass cannon Crit Yi and you fight him 1v1, you probably deserved to die.
Grouping up and engaging objectives literally takes the priority out of Crit Yi's sails. If he's building Tanky, his low AD can not keep up with his Critical Multipliers and thus he becomes a significantly smaller damage threat. The only reason why Tanky Crit Yi is beating you is probably because you're doing everything wrong against him, like dueling him.
I know you think it is like it, but it isnt, the damage
hydra is way pass "decent", it is an on-hit and has a lot of synergy with Sated Devourer, up to a point where he can kill targets of 2k life in 2 seconds, add a
to the equation and it is a nightmare.
Obviously you still think crit Yi is still a thing, I said it crits because his Q always procs a crit.
The only champ I can use to beat him is
,
or
(if used properly).
I think this on-hit Meta nightmare of
and
could be stopped if we just made
% damage return work with on-hits too, at least we could "control" them a bit, because right now they are really hard to counter and tbh, thornmail sucks, with this it could have a purpose on the meta... at least.
What?
Q does not proc a crit at all unless you have crit chance, in which case the Q itself crits.
I'm starting to think here you just don't have any understanding of Master Yi.
His Q used to proc crit even when it didn't for the purpose of Rage (or however it was called), a mastery that gave you extra AS when u landed a crit. I don't know if it still "crits" for the purpose of Warlords.
If you have crit chance.
Q crits just like an auto attack. This has been that way since the AD Yi rework. Please do not kid yourself.
I don't man have you faced against a Jax with:
or

the reason why is rageblade. Rageblade is deemed an OP item and pretty every champ who can build it is, or is boarder line OP in the thoughts of many. Despite how strong the Xin buffs were they did not single-handedly make him OP. The fact that he got further stats to synergize with the rageblade/devourer combo is what put him over the top.
He's not op, niether is Garen, Darius, yi, or most other easymode champs.
He is (they are) only OP in Bronze-Silver (gold?) where they are so easy compared to the other champions that require more skill, so the lower skilled players perform much better with them compared to other champs with a higher skill cap.
People have been complaining about Jax since day 1 and nothing has ever changed....cause he is not broken in any way shape or form. Lol, people understand and listen to the "Dont chase Singed" motto...well heres a new one: "Don't duel Jax".
...If everyone chased Singed people would be crying about him too (to put my metaphor into perspective).

what if singed make you chase... Have you tried a naut vs sing lane? Naut being so slow there is no way to get out of the poison trail once you get caught in it Q. Q
Janna is cancer, i know.
Because high elo and LCS has little to do with everyone else, obviously.
Because 80% of the people are bronze or silver and think any champ they can't 1v1 must be op.
