Reddit and board started to complain about Darius, can we get your final word on this champ?
is he op? is he balanced? is he a mistake/badly designed? is he how a juggernaut should be aka buff other juggernauts?
i really want your answer because depending on how you think the future of the game will be impacted because either we will buff other juggernauts or we will nerf Darius

He's definitely the healthiest juggernaut we have by a wide margin. Riot should use him as the standard.
kasfas1 votesI wouldn't say he's the healthiest juggernaut. I'd say he makes laning literally impossible for many opponents because getting close to him is death, or at least a good chunk of your health. Not to say he can't be played around. I've beat plenty of darii with Kled and poppy, and out scaled him midgame multiple times with sion, but I believe the healthiest juggernaut is Yorick. His major trading tools are telegraphed skillshots and can be avoided by most champions with dashes, while his trading requires a good amount of setup before he starts to win. Additionally if he decides to trade before he completes his setup, he has to wait a good amount of time before he can actually trade well, in that time champions can farm or trade with him favourably. Darius has no telegraphed skillshots, and has no requirement on his power aside from fighting someone for a bit, and when your engage tool is an instant cast 450 range hook with a 40% slow, he gives you very few opportunities to farm in lane. It's MUCH harder to trade with him favourably or to farm when his abilities are down.

beside, in laning phase i prefer laning against darius than riven or some bs like this. I already managed to destroy one as cho'gath why? because darius attack speed make him needing a lot of time to get stacks and do damage, you can easily burst him down. And cho'gath has a better sustain
Darius is actually a lane bully only against weak early game champions, he can't do shit against: -mobile melees that dodges his Q -meless that can burst him down before he does anything like riven
He's also one of the easiest target for a gank above diamond

Darius's hook is on a 24 second cooldown at level 1. It's also generally used to re-initiate after you blow a spell to get away; if he opens with it, he has nothing to keep you from disengaging. Darius's passive gives him a very clear window of power to reward him for extended trades in lane, and spreading the stacks in teamfights; his Q gives you the opportunity to deny him healing and punish him while he's on cooldown.

Use him as standard? True damage execute isn't good.

KraDEsluP2823 voteshaven't played darius in a long time but I believe the issue is he can go full tank and I think each blood drop gives him ad, so he becomes strong and can get around 300ad with probably just a black cleaver. Also his q heal is strong af.

Q heal is pretty damn big, if it hits he auto wins the trade.
Not saying that's a bad thing, just that the way it works... it makes him much stronger against champions with larger models than those with smaller models. Not surprisingly, one of Darius's counters, Fiora, has a small model.
Sahn Uzal3 votesHe's intended to go BC > Tank though. Counting Steraks as a tank item more than a damage item, but people do build that often on him. He gets AD from Noxian might when he gets the 5 stacks, nothing for 1-4 tho.
