astralwit1 votesAP Kog used to be a unique and fun playstyle too but they randomly reworked him and now he's much less viable as a mid laner. It was so weird because he was not dominant in any lane when reworked but also not bad and no one was asking for a rework. After it, he's more of a W bot than anything else. It's a boring and hard to balance style. He was such a cool and versatile champion before. It's also not like AP Kog was a gimmick. It was a thing since S1 and occasionally played in competitive too. He was a true hypercarry but also very vulnerable and weak early (which is the main reason he wasn't played in competitive almost at all).
