We had 2 tanks and the enemy team was all AD. But OMG they had Garen, who can dodge please!! Then he dodges when everyone else tells him we have the game easy...
Oh, and he was Tristana ADC... like one of the ADCs with the most self peel in the game... Come on people... think!

I could see dodging a team that had the ADC plus 4 AP champions (especially if they were all offensive AP champions and none were AP tanks) and the ADC was a caster ADC... but wow.
Then again, a Veigar kind of wants to target one person and blow them up. If your team is AP heavy they're going to build more MR and Veigar can't do his job. Still silly to dodge it, but he may have just wanted to blow stuff up all game.

I wouldn't say anything if it was someone who just didn't know how to lane against Garen and didn't want to feed him - fine that's great, dodge. The ADC who asked for ADC though? When the enemy team is all AD, we have 2 tanks and all 4 of your allied champions have CC to peel for you (and you're Tristana who can jump and knockback...).
Just doesn't make sense to me.

ValyrianBlade1 votesHere's the thing - it was the ADC TRISTANA that was complaining about them having Garen... Our top laner (who was first pick blue side and purposely let Garen go despite her asking to ban it) was perfectly fine and said he wanted to lane against Garen...
Sure, he's strong, but they were all AD, we had tanks and plenty of peel (I was Ahri mid btw). There was just no reason to dodge, we won champion select pretty hard.
Great Ozymandius1 votesA lot of time people don't see how they can dominate their opponents in lane and think the game is hopeless. These people don't realize that you can lose the lane and win the game.
For example, sometimes I'll have unfavorable matchups as malphite, top, but as soon as I get 6 I roam to mid, ult the midlaner and get me or our midlaner a kill, setting that lane ahead. Then I go back to base, walk to top lane, push the wave off turret, get ult off cd, an tp bot lane, getting kills, setting that lane ahead. Then I got back top, and repeat mid.
I could be be doomed to lose any 1v1 versus garen badly, and he might get the tower earlier, but if I successfully translate my level 6 power spike into a team advantage, it doesn't matter.
lofi n chillhop1 votesTBH evertime I have a teamate who shudders in fear about garen or fiora or something, it always shows in game. I am confident in my ability to fight off the most feared enemies, but if my ally fears this enemy and feeds them because they just freeze up when facing it, it makes it a hard game. or panick and misplay.
and I've done it too. I've played so poorly sometimes when I have a role I'm very inexperienced against, I've just cowered and lost farm for free, take damage for free, or misjudged their all-in and died for free.
if your teamate was so frightened they dodged, there's a chance they'd have thrown the game if they hadn't. :(

Why is an ADC afraid of the enemy top laner though? I mean, sure, late game. But the ADC's job is literally to just right click and kite back in teamfights. You have 4 allies whose job it is to keep the Garen off of you, and all 4 of us wanted that match.
And on top of that they were all AD. That's my big problem there. Like Malphite was going to be unkillable late game...
