How to make a fair and balanced game.

You don't! You reward incompetence, and make the literal easiest champs the strongest by far, and give them every tool they'd ever need, while making the hardest champs the most pathetic because whales can't play them.

ADCs? They do nothing but right click, but have the most damage, the most sustain, the highest item diversity, the least drawback / risk, no counterplay, the highest range (outside of edge cases), and all that.

But then, someone like Ori, or the new Kat, or Taliyah, or Ivern? Very low item diversity, low damage unless you do everything PERFECT (still, even when done perfect, an ADC triples your damage), highly telegraphed and lots of counterplay, overall short range, lots of risk, very low sustain if any, and so on.

Now, doesn't that seem a bit backwards? Shouldn't the easy champ be, you know, weaker? If played at the highest potential, the harder champ should be dramatically stronger. But no, in today's backwards ass society, EVERYBODY WINS! ... that, and whales can't play the hard champs, so they can't be strong, otherwise the whales would feel bad and might quit! Can't think about anything but money! Nope!

Sure do have to love F2P cash grabs, and today's idiotic society. Sure would be nice if Riot gave a fuck outside of income potential -- but, that's just not how things work anymore.

Except ADCs usually need one person to peel for them and one person to engage. An ADC isn't going to be able to triple your damage until late game. I find it funny that you bring in Ivern, Taliyah and Orianna who are all able to provide a lot more than pure damage and then you compare them to champs whose sole role is to do damage.

As for Katarina, well players are still learning her. I've seen what good Katarina players can do and it's extremely scary and makes me wish I had the skill for it.

Except, with Lifesteal, ADCs can just stand and 1v1 someone and absolutely win -- especially if they have no CC. The only way to beat an ADC is to do more damage than them (which won't happen unless you're stupidly fed), or to have so much CC they can't do anything. Then we have champs like MF and Vayne who can quite literally just 100-0 people instantly, and don't really need a team for much else than teamfights.

Alright, let's look at champs meant to do just damage:

  • Kassadin, for example. He has less damage, he is melee, he has absurd mana costs, he has long CDs early game, and his playstyle involves jumping into the enemy team.

  • Azir. Highly telegraphed, long-ranged but easy to catch out, low burst, no sustain, high mana costs, long CDs early

  • Kat. Staggered burst, highly telegraphed, melee range for max damage, has to jump on top of people to do damage, easy to get away from, destroyed by even the slightest bit of CC, very low sustain, easy to mess up

Now, wouldn't it make sense for champs who have to put in so much effort just to use their kit to be stronger than champs who can be played by a monkey or a program?
