Being positive in KDA isn't necessarily playing well, especially when you are on a champion that is considered an initiator, who's entire job is to start the fight for the rest of the team. Shyvana, Zac, and anyone with a dive or some way of getting the fight started often means being the front line and taking the damage for the team. If you are just staying alive at the cost of missed opportunities to allow others on the team to win fights and obtain objectives. . . well, then that's why you are losing.
Also there is a lot of strategic play that goes overlooked in the face of just KDA, things that can't be seen such as whether you were assisting in setting up objective pushes and so on, whether you were being a positive influence on your team or just flaming them. There is too little knowledge here, just some random numbers, there has to be more going on then what we are seeing (no offense intended).
If that is all the advice you can give me you haven't helped. I already do all of these things. Initiating is the easy part, I only leave a fight when I am low and have no other way to contribute to it. I am practically always the first jungler to take dragon (taking a pink and rushing drag level ~5 is one of the easiest things in gold). If top gets ganked I immediately ping for dragon, if we can't contest dragon I will rotate for a tower. If i kill the enemy jungler i will ping for smiteables. Then there is my team who need to chase ahri at our blue buff instead of defending a tower siege in middle. And this ends up happening all game, a slow methodical loss which is seen from miles away.
The last game I played I opened up with a statement about my current loss streak and I was (ofcourse) met by a bunch of sarcastic comments calling sus and bs. The first creep I missed was number 36 (mid was at 32 and enemy adc was at 27) and I secured the first two kills for our team after my support had unfortunately died. By the end of it people were remarkably saying "lol lucian was right it wasn't his fault" and I ended the game with both teams calling a sympathetic "gg sorry luc" which greatly surprised me and put me off any chance of tilting. Even my annie support who ended up 0/10/5 was overtly glad that I didn't rage at her for the feed.
I often play with my friend ranked in Plat 2 and I find the bot lane matchups to be a lot more engaging. My mmr in normals is high enough that it pairs me with diamonds.
Frankly I don't even care about the losses anymore. I resort to silence. Maybe absence of a positive attitude is what is putting my team down. I don't know.
Trolls are allowed to play because they know Riot protects them and punishes players that call out trolls. I can't keep a positive attitude when I have a scrub on my team and i'm not even allowed to call them out for their mistakes or even when they are purposefully ignoring the team, for the sole purpose of aggrivating us? Riot will never come into my room and put a gun to my skull and force me to play a video game the way they want me to. The answer is treat your team mates how they deserve, if they deserve respect you give it to them.
If they deserve to be told how bad they are, how poor their decisions are, and how sub optimal their build paths are, lay it on them. If Riot keeps giving out participation and thanks for showing up awards and pampering all the scrubs, they will grow up without any pressure to improve. Go play CoD and hold your team back, they'll let you know real quick where you belong. That's an actual video, that isn't made or moderated by emotionally stunted 34 year old men who are mentally stuck in college. I PRUGRAM DA GAEMS SO U GOTS TO PLAY IT MY WAYS LOL
I imagine the kind of person it takes to work for Riot as that lil kid that never went outside to play because they always got their ass kicked. So now they are adults they have their own little playground where they can make the rules. Wow guys you sure showed life didn't you? Online MOBA community badasses. I mean, thiefs. Yeah. Let's steal all the core concept ideas and about 15 champion rip offs and call it League of Legends. Lolololol
The funny thing is, it shouldn't even be called League or Legends anymore. Since the Institute no longer exists, or the fact we still have summoner spells but summoners aren't a thing anymore. Or that we have minions which were summoned by summoners that don't exist. Or that a lot of champions still make comments about the summoners which no longer exist. Or that death is completely bypassed even though that was summoners that did that before, since they basically disabled dying on the rift. Or best part of all, the Rift doesn't exist anymore either, since the people that created it cease to exist so it ceases to exist. Actually the real best part is WE DONT EVEN KNOW WHY PEOPLE ARE FIGHTING ANYMORE. They got rid of all the story so Demacia and Noxus and others aren't even at war anymore, its just they are fighting because why not? Might as well call this game Battlefield since that is what little the game amounts to now.
So many things are still in place when they removed all of it that its laughable. All because they can't be bothered to make lore up. I mean is it so hard to make a story? People don't even ask for much, just make a damn background story that isn't smaller than some champs passives(There is like a good 20 champs that have their stories shorter than Jhin's passive text) and make up a damn reason why this place even exist in the first place. Basically the story was Demacia and Noxus at war and they used that place to fight, but got rid of that because LOLRITO KNOWS BEST, but can't be bothered to make a replacement.
And this is coming from someone that isn't even a big story person. If someone that was hard into lore was here, they would spew a lot more about how BS this is.
And this also is coming from a company that has one of the most successful game in the world right now and last clocked in at a net worth of 1.3 BILLION(aka their profit, gross is total income before expenses) back in 2015, so who knows how much higher/lower it is now. And they can't even be bothered to put up the Tribunal which was a fairly good idea, or make lore which indie devs can do better than them.
Tencent has one of their hands up Riot's ass, and the other hand in their pocket slipping them hush hush money to keep quiet and take it. Riot , like every sell out bitch with a hand in their ass, quietly takes the money.
Yeah I dunno then, I mean going off what you are typing here and what we can see it's just the high variance that is team games. Given enough time you should climb no matter what, because the variables can't always be against you, just keep doing what you are doing for the most part.
A few things though, unless the tier 2 towers are down one should always prioritize the towers over Baron/Dragon unless there is no way to push the tower and take it before people get up or they have multiple people down and you can't push into an inhib but can take Baron. Otherwise the buffs they give simply are not worth more than the value of that global gold. Also, as counterintuitive as it might seem, sometimes trying to let others get the kills so they can snowball their lanes or allow someone to catch up can be worth more than dumping all the gold into one "carry". This seems odd but it means that the damage spread is larger on your team and it becomes harder for the enemy to choose who to focus, or leave them no good options on who to focus. Unless, of course, the rest of the team is really bad at positioning.
I can't say much though I'm currently in a downward spiral, regardless of my champ or position selection where I am either getting camped in a lane with no help all game, or I'm winning hard and the rest of the team is feeding, or lastly that one person simply won't group when we are trying to siege. Just gotta keep believing in yourself, and keep doing what you are doing for the most part, good luck!
