We need to come up with a new name for tanks.

They... aren't tanks anymore. Tanks (in the MMO/RPG sense) give you this idea of an unstoppable wall that soaks damage for their team while dishing out some light damage and a good amount of CC.

Now, imagine if that "unstoppable wall" was made of cardboard (not even corrugated). With all the damage amps and resist shreds and bullshit items we have, that's what tanks are now: Cardboard-armor knights/robots.

So, what do we call them now? Garbage? Trash? Useless? I can't think of a good name that still sounds positive while reflecting how useful they are. Help me out here.

tanks are still tanks, just now theyre actually not disgusting, being a tank doesnt mean being able to soak in ALL DAMAGE SOURCES and still have 40% hp left, kill the enemy adc and get away with it.. that is just being plain broken (AKA cho gath before the season changes, idk how he is now).

being a tank means giving your team a front line and some utility while lasting fairly longer than your squishy team mates, not being an Abrams M1A2 running and stomping the enemy lines while tanking a turret at the same time. So please stop the QQ.

a tank isn't just an armor vehicle you know, it has a MASSIVE CANNON.

if it is hard to kill..then its a tank. end of story. regardless or not it can 1 shot you. (that's what the freaking cannon is for anyways)

I know how you feel man. I literally just hopped over here from a game looking to see if I was the only one getting annoyed by this. I played a malphite game with full armor and couldn't even live for 2 seconds because of all the armor shred they had so I would just ult and instantly die. Tried doing tank Jarvan and I get 1/2 healthed by a Statik Shiv auto from a Xayah even with my full armor + tabi except for 1 MR item. I guess I'm just gonna build full damage shit right now cause playing tank is 0 fun and 0 reward for trying to front line.
