I have to disagree with part where it says the likes of Ekko being well designed champs.

Sure they have more buttons to press, sure the skill cap of correctly executing a champ's combo is higher than others. But with that being said, they are way too forgiving and their actions lack consequences as a result of being inbuilt with overloaded design.

And that makes it a dumb down, since when we think about what "dumbing down" really is, it is essentially talking about missing meaningful choices and consequences, and overloaded kits are killing both.

Because firstly the overloaded kits by design, oppresses the standard kits out of viability when their numbers are even remotely comparable. The differences and uniqueness between champs would disappear as everyone is being reworked to gear up overloaded kits. Then with their overwhelming safety and forgiving mechanics, the responsibility of requiring the player to plan and take risks would also be nullified, further damaging the game as a whole.

If the ult has anything to do with it, you should know you cant use it while cc, he isnt op, he has passives and actives. Plz tell me aatroxx and all other champs that have 2 abilites in one , or jayce having 2 abilites in each ability + passives xD

Aatrox and Jayce were both been huge headaches for the balance team.

And yer look where they are now.

With overloaded kits, you kinda have to go either broken or garbage every single time whenever balance is involved, hence why I think that those kits are never really a good idea in League tbh.

Yeah they just straight up ended up breaking Jayce because there wasn't a good balance to be met. I mean they even ended up breaking Tear because of him +Ez during the time period he was strong.

Granted Tear at least got fixed. Jayce, not so much. Aatrox I forgot was a champ for about 2 months.

Seems like you are projecting a bit there. This is why I say you are proving the OP's point, because you are acting all defensive over something that wasn't even said directly to you, meaning you are either projecting, are feeling guilty enough to think this is aimed at you.

This number of teenagers that play the game has been growing exponentially over the years. These teenagers and children are the cause of many of our problems as a community.

Fact: When summer comes around the LoL community takes a massive turn for the worse. Why is this? Do people with jobs suddenly take out all of their aggression at work out on their fellow gamers over the summer? Or do children/teenagers without many friends spend their spare time raging at their mature counterparts over the internet?

I'm calling you a kid, as in a child, as in a young aged person. You are acting like a child. I am saying it in the literal way, not as an insult. Ekko / Lee Sin / Gnar / Jayce / etc.. most champions with 8+ abilities or abilities that do many things...

You say these champions use "More complicated skills and designs" and "they are all above average in hard mechanics so dont say they are dumb." No, these champions are not complicated or hard to play. I have a background in games such as Starcraft / Diablo 2 / EverQuest 1 & 2 / WoW... all of these require many more than just 4-8 abilities to operate a character effectively.

A champion with 8 abilities (or 4 abilities that each do many different things like in Ekko's case) is not complicated at all whatsoever for experienced gamers. You put words in my mouth. These champions are not complicated or hard to play, they are stupid and overloaded in comparison to the many binary champions in the game such as Annie, Master Yi, Ryze, Olaf, Tryndamere, Trundle, Mordekaiser, etc... You cannot dispute the fact that some champions are capable of MUCH MUCH more than others. League of Legends has been around for roughly 6 years. The majority of these overloaded champions were released in the later 3 years of this games existence. Lee Sin and Nidalee used to be unique, now champions like them are all over the place.

Why have overloaded kits? Why have kits that are capable of so much more? Because they are fun. The issue with that is that these "fun" champions begin to outclass/outdate the "old, binary champions" This results in a game that values skill shots and mobility over raw power. Skill shots and mobility is fun. This gives outplay potential. Back in the day when everything was straight-forward and binary there was much less outplay potential. Much more emphasis was placed upon the core mechanics of the game, such as last hit technique and whatnot.

Instead of defined strengths and weaknesses, we have some fucked up mess now. Why? Because fucked-up messes are fun. Children don't care about balance, they care about #lcsbigplays , and thats cool. Not a knock against kids, that is where the majority of Riot's cash comes from. Riot makes fun champions, the kids are happy. Fuck balance. And that is why we have trolls.

i feel we have trolls more due to people playing bad/being a bully irl then leading to others feeding/being a bully. but i see your point now. Yes balancing is fucked but idc bout balance when i can play a defined by meta bad champ and destroy. The old binary champs are worse in design truly (visual not strength) but they dont seem to be unbalanced, except for kassadin and yorick imo, all others i can except as having a higher skill to play bcz they are worse. idk i dont read the text i write.
