Thats assuming she builds gunblade. To play around kata means to know her Passive dagger ranges. Fight her as much as you want, as long as you avoid her passive youre almost garuanteed to win

Just noting, kata 99% of the time will rush gunblade. And i 100% agree with your statement (as a kat main)

Yeah. I specified almost cuz her R is still a threat too. But her daggers make the most damage. Roughly 63% (if my math isnt wrong) from her dps comes from there.

I don't know. Before, I had never had a problem with kata and always considered her like a trash champion too easy to outplay.

But now with all these gunblade and riley shits it's impossible, I try my best to get out of her knife range but the time she W on me, gunblade and E, I know about I'm dead because I'm slowed so hard I can't escape the goddam knife. And even after getting away, she still has her goddam ult.

Maybe it depends on what champ you play. If kata pisses you off. Try Zed, Zilean or Kappadin

She can jump before they land. Draven is the same, walk up and 1 shot.

"Just CC them" isn't counterplay, because it applies to every single champ.

The difference is, Katarina upon picking the dagger up applies the spin where SHE is at the center, not the dagger. Even if she does jump, keep her from jumping to the daggers edge thats closer to you. Also i said Zone them, not cc them. There is a vast difference. ZONING means denying positioning and movement control. When Zilean throws his Q, you generally avoid going in, right? THAT is zoning. Use it on kata and you can keep her shut down. If she cant apply her dagger damage she cant kill which means she cant reset which means she is full on cd.

You have 1.5 seconds of down time in which to dodge, you can't even complain that you don't have mobility because if you don't youre an adc whos suppowed to die to her, you're a tank, or you have cc to disengage.
