wtf are AP champs supposed to use for a keystone in 6.22?

all of they keystone changes.. and what do mages get. ... just thunderlords.

what kind of variety do we get if the only thing we can use is thunderlords

maybe my champ is squishy and i want to get some extra health from the resolve tree .. nope we removed strength of ages... and none of they keystones are worth anything for ap in there

maybe i want to deal more burst damage and have into the ferocity tree.. nope because there are no keystones that are even halfway decent with ap..

we HAVE to go thunder-lords now.

Still think Thunderlord's should be single target and DFT should deal full damage on AoE spells. That would make it pretty clear which is for what.

Stormraider's Surge is a good option for many AP champs. (Try it on a sustained damage kiting medium range champ like Cassiopeia, Ryze, or Aurelion Sol.) Deathfire Touch is also useful for certain champions, particularly if you're good at aiming frequent poke and you know you'll need the %MPen for the enemy team (say Ziggs or Xerath). Heck, you can take Windspeaker's Blessing on Karma and Lulu. Heck, you could make a tanky Lissandra build with Rylai's and RoA and go Courage of the Colossus for engages. (Wouldn't recommend it, but it would be funny to see a couple times.)

I haven't seen changes to any of those 3 old ones in the preseason PBE notes, so they should all still be available. And that's because they're workable choices. Are they incredibly OP on every champ? No. And that's good.

Also, last year, Riot specifically said Ferocity was for over time damage dealing and that Precision was for assassins and supports. So saying you want burst damage but you want to get it from Ferocity is... misguided.
