What do you mean item 3046 item 3031 item 3812 item 3065 item 3068 is a pain? Its just 100% crit, graves level survivability, and ekko level skirmishing....

FIrst not seen that build until now. Second, graves got burst and is ranged, ekko got a better engage and they both have way better teamfight potential.

Its a joke because conq. split push tryndamere wasnt really possible until this patch, because 30% true damage, effective damage reduction, 3000HP, 100% crit was a hard thing to get.

There are counters to splitpush. And for the rest. Let me just copy a comment from the tryndamere sub reddit:

Tryndamere core build used to cost 8300g (Berserker Greaves, Tiamat, PD, Essence Reaver) and gave him:

95 Attack Damage

80% Attack Speed

50% Critical Strike (85 with full fury)

30% CDR (10 from old ER passive)

His most popular core build right now, which is probably fogged's (Berserker Greaves, Tiamat, PD, IE) costs 8800 and gives him:

105 AD

80% Attack Speed

130% Critical Strike Chance (Passive and PD gets doubled with IE)

15% True Damage from Critical Strikes

Now, what are the pros and cons?

Pros:

10 more AD

15% true damage from Critical Strikes

Cons:

Less 30% CDR

Costs 500 gold more

30% of critical chance is wasted

Now let's do some math, shall we?

We get 10 more AD from our new build which is worth 345 gold (Longsword)

No way to calculate True damage, but we have Conqueror to compare to.

At level 1, stacked Conqueror gives us 10 AD and 20% of all (not only crits) of our damage is converted to 20% true damage (5% more than IE)

So as we can see, at level 1 Conqueror gives us 345 gold worth of stats without counting the true damage.

At level 18, Conqueror gives us 35 AD, this is then a Pickaxe (875 gold) plus a Longsword (345 gold). 875+345 = 1220 gold.

At level 18 Conqueror gives us almost a BF Sword (40 AD, 1300 gold).

So, what do IE gives us that Conqueror does not? 45 more AD, right? Let's see then.

As we already know, a BF Sword gives us 40 AD and it's worth 1300 gold, so the math is: 1300+172,5 ( Half a Longsword which gives 10 AD) = 1472,5. This is the amount of gold we get from the 45 more AD IE gives than Conqueror.

IE costs 3700 gold and gives us 80 AD. So, how much are we paying for 15% true damage that only affect crits and 45 more ad? The answer is 3700-1300 = 2227,5 gold.

We are paying almost double the price to get what Conqueror gives us for "free" and 45 more AD, which only costs 1472.5 gold.

What about the 30% excess critical chance, how much gold goes to waste? Let's see!

The only item that gives critical chance by itself is Brawler's Glove, its price is 600 gold and gives us 10 critical chance, so we would need three of them to reach our 30%. 3x600 = 1800. That's the gold value wasted when getting 130% crit chance.

And the CDR that we lost, how much is it worth it?

CDR is a little more tricky, since no item gives CDR by its own, we have to use the wiki's calculation found here

We can see that every % of CDR is worth 26,6 gold, so if 26,6x10 = 266 then 266x3 = 798. That is the amount of gold the 30% CDR is worth.

Now let's see how much gold we gained and how much we lost as a whole.

Gained

10 AD = 345 gold

Lost

30% CDR = 798 gold

30% Critical Strike Chance = 1800 Gold

Build Costs more? Yes, 500 gold.

The math is simple: 798+1800+500-345 = 2753 Gold.

If we add the amount of gold we pay for what IE gives subtracting the 1300 gold (35 AD) value from Conqueror as it gives much better True Damage as you don't need to crit, the value is almost 5000 gold. 2753+2227,5 = 4980,5 gold.

What if we still want the old stats?

The best you will get is Shiv>Lucidity>PD>Essence Reaver for 9800g

70 AD

80% Attack Speed

60% Critical Strike chance (95% with full fury)

30% Cooldown Reduction

This gives 25 less AD and 10% more crit chance. 25 AD is worth 875 gold and 10% Critical Chance is worth 600 gold, so you still lose 275 gold even paying 1500 more than the old build.

Conclusion

We pay more for less, Tryndamere needs CDR, there's no way around it, you can try to go move speed builds, ghost and its fine, but without CDR, you will get destroyed in teamfights in D5+

They are looking into Tryndamere buffs. They are not confirmed, but are looking. Like really close to being confirmed.

Tryndameres winrate is 47%(op.gg). Yasuo gets a hotfix for that kind of winrate.
