I wish Yuumi’s W did not give AD/AP to an ally

I feel like Yuumi’s only use to a team is that she gives free stats to an ally while being untargetable. That’s great and unique for a support but I think it fills up too much of her power budget. I would rather have her W adaptive force not exist in exchange for the rest of her abilities to actually be useful. Such as:

Making her E heal fill up more than a millimeter of an ally’s health bar.

Healing both her and an ally.

Making her Q be the same regardless of being attached or not.

Making her ult actually do damage.

Making her passive work by hitting an enemy with an ability while attached.

Not have the E movement speed decay over 2 seconds.

Giving her stats so she is not more fragile than an ant.

I absolutely love her current kit.... and that was before the hot fix hit.

Same. I personally like the idea of being a second inventory.

I run unsealed spell book. I am a giant ball of activates. You can swap SS out attached.

item 3174 is undervalued by players. On the kittys kit its freaking fantastic thou.

But hey they can tell me im wrong and shes bad as they fail with item 3504 item 3285 rushes... Ill just keep winning games and enjoying myself.

Pestilus and Abby main in other mobas so I have a leg up on some folks who are just seeing the mechanic for the first time.

As a support main myself, I completely agree. I would be happy if the adaptive force was removed completely in an exchange to adding more damage to her Q and possibly making it a small AOE, lowering her E cooldown increasing the ratio and maybe even up the scaling for low health, and lower the movement speed buff, and more damage on her ult.

Some may say this is a little too much but I think it would be fair for a few reasons. 1) She is trying to do too much, She is untargetable, she has a dash, she heals, she gives movement speed, she slows, and she stuns, but she doesn't do any of these particularly well. 2) Her ratios are weak and will be too weak because they are "balanced" around her getting adaptive force from her W, take away this adaptive force and she will do even less damage, healing, and movement speed buffing.

In her current state she is basically an underpowered stat stick, she gives people free AD/AP, she makes them move faster, and she gives them ardent. Pretty much it. Compared to Soraka, Nami, or Sona, she is pretty underwhelming.

I think you haven't seen how powerful is the Veigar Yuumi combo... her numbers get insane really fast, making all the supports you mentioned underwhelming.

My main concern is that they reworked sona from a passive auras champion to her present state because passively granting stats didn't communicate well and made a champion seem weak when they appear to do nothing.

And then yuumi comes out with passive stat increase that takes up a fairly large portion of her power budget.

Now, for her W to do anything more than make her untargeable I do think she needs to keep some adaptive force exchange. However either limiting it by giving it for a few seconds, or by cutting it in half should free up some of the power budget.

Sona gave Passive stats to her WHOLE team as an Aura (which was on 24/7, you just chose which one you prefered).

Yuumi gives only one stat to one Ally and forces her to stay attached to that Ally (which presents both advantages and disadvantages).

You can't compare Yuumi and Sona because Sona needed to have her Auras balanced around the fact that she could buff her whole team, so her numbers were made low and unnoticeable to be balanced.

Yuumi in exchange can only buff one character and she can have more power distributed into this effect, resulting into a noticeable buff that her allies can and will use most of the times.

They reworked her auras because they believed that her abilities (namely her auras) didn't have visible and tangible impact. https://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/champion-update/sona-maven-of-the-strings

And that is my argument with yuumi's adaptive force. It's too passive to seem like it does anything, nor does it really communicate that when she is attached you get boosted ap/ad. It's an issue of how it seems rather than what it does.

the passive stat increase is not what kill her power budget lol

its the untargetable part , it make her effectively the hardest enchantress to kill since you can never target her first, in fact a good yuumi will be so hard to kill you will have to kill her full team first .

I will concede it is pretty much everything about her W that eats the power budget. Since neither the stat increase nor the untargetability would function well without the other. And the unlimited duration/quick target swap of it doesn't help either.

the untargetability will work extremely fine without the stat on W, if they buff any part of her kit in exchange of W close to any enchantress level it will result on yuumi just becoming an untargetable version of enchantress without any weakness

I agree with the title, the raw amount of stats that Yuumi gives is way too much. I didn't even need to play with the champion to realize how broken giving an ally 21% AP is, just for ranking up your ability, on a champion that literally cannot be targeted. There is literally no counterplay to her, and Yummi basically gives her teammate a free Rabadon's Deathcap at no cost. Who in their right mind would believe for a second that is actually balanced?

Where Riot failed with this champion is giving her a scaling damage boost. It's this current balance team's favorite thing to do. Let's give keystones and runes scaling percentage damage, let's give invincible champions scaling damage boosts, let's add scaling percentage stats to dragons, let's just give everything in the game scaling damage. It's outrageous how 'snowbally' Riot is forcing League of Legends to become. They could have gave Yuumi a flat number of AP or AD at each rank, and she would have been much better off.

I agree to some points. Not many, but some of them. You seem to think that Yuumi's power budget is mostly on her ability to boost stats but the real thing that takes up most of her budget is the fact she's basically untargettable 85% of the game. That is a huge advantage.

Healing both her and an ally.

In what scenario would this be useful to Yuumi? She already has the safety of not being able to get hit by anything, she is not gonna be running out of HP if you know what you're doing.

Making her Q be the same regardless of being attached or not.

If by this you mean making the Q follow your mouse even when you're not attached to another champion, then this is a terrible idea, unless you don't want to hit a Q ever unless you stand still waiting to get killed, this change makes no sense, if you tried to control it while walking and dodging skillshots would be basically impossible unless you play at like 8000 DPI and can click on the side to move then pull your cursor back to the path you want the Q to take.

I'd say that they need to speed up her Q when not attached or give it AoE on impact so she can clear a little bit.

Making her passive work by hitting an enemy with an ability while attached.

Her Q and ults are extremely consistent already and you want that to grant a free shield on top of that? And not just that but granting it from shooting a skill that has a very short CD on a champion that is UNTARGETTABLE? You're crazy!

Making her ult actually do damage. Not have the E movement speed decay over 2 seconds.

I think this would be fair if you tweak it a little bit, increase the Ult's damage by like 10% wouldn't be too bad. As for her heal keeping the delay but make it over a longer time would be nice too.

Making her E heal fill up more than a millimeter of an ally’s health bar.

Now this is just you not building properly, with the right items her heal is actually disgusting especially the lower your allies are. Unholy Grail and any forbidden idol item together do wonders making the heal extremely useful.
