It's not like I want mages to be gutted and for everyone to bow down to AD overlords.
I just really feel that as defensive items they should trade off in offensive stats, because as it is they really provide too much of a "best of both worlds" kind of feel.

Yes. I wouldn't mind iceborne and sunfire getting more nerfs.

RoA, on the other hand, does have a ramp up time so it need to be strong once its fully stacked or else whats the point of building it? If RoA has the same stats when its finished as a regular item when you buy it, why on earth you you gimp yourself for 10 minutes?

however rylais on the other hand is a special kind of stupid item its the best utility mage item in the game while providing a whopping 100 ap and 400 health. reduce health to 350 and ap to 80.
