Please, enlighten me: What counter do AA / targeted abilities have?

Title.

And don't even bother saying "CC," because that's not counterplay. It's an excuse. EVERYTHING in this game is countered by CC. I'm asking the counter to automatically-aimed, unmissable attacks that fire off more than once a second.

AS stackers like Xin, Yi, Shyv, Trundle, etc.

ADCs in general.

Mages like Annie / Anivia / Malz / LB who just click on you and win.

Champs like Rengar, who click on you and delete you from existence, even if you have 300 armor and 2.8k HP.

What counter do they have, short of going nowhere near them? I can even play Kass, with Merc Treads, Veil AND Visage into Anivia, but still instantly die. I can play Teemo into Xin and Yi, but still instantly die ("blind" my ass). I can spam CC, but instantly die if they hit me. I can stack armor / MR, but still instantly die. I can beat the fuck out of them in lane, yet still lose the second mid-game comes around.

So, please, tell me how to beat targeted fucking bullshit. And then, tell me how it's balanced in any way for the literal easiest, safest forms of damage to be the strongest.

There's exaggeration.

There's even hyperbole.

And then there's this post.

its funny how exaggeration and hyperbole have the same meaning in my country (hyperbole is a greek word which means exaggeration :P)

not everything is supposed to have direct counterplay. low counterplay has just as much importance to the game as high counterplay.

You build bork and rod of ages on teemo in top lane.... you have zero credibility.

Gotta be item 3153 item 3124 man, that hybrid split push.

But then we're back to the point of it being Teemo... Sadness item 3151

Stay out of range. "long" range for auto attacks is absolutely pathetic compared to spells.

Well, on one hand your completely correct. Targeted abilities are complete B.S. sometimes and riot has actually been actively trying to remove these (to a certain extent) from the game. I mean, taric lost his, pretty much no recent champions have any real targeted abilities that do too much, but yea, there is work to be done. Anivia e is balanced out by the fact it needs her to hit either q (a clunky and hard to use skillshot) or her ult (very short range) for it to do more than tickle. As for the bruiser/melee AA based champions, they are generally designed for these 1v1 situations, teemo has his uses but will probably never beat a xin or yi in a straight up 1v1. Thats just how they work, you have to try and avoid these situations, xin may destroy teemo in a 1v1 but add another form of dmg or cc and said xin is fked unless he's fed. Rengar is a bit of an anomaly, riot knows he is kinda stupid and has tried to work around it by giving the exclamation point to give warning. But really the only way to stop a good rengar right now is to stay grouped once the game gets past 15-20 minutes, on the bright side rengar has a hard time jumping into a full team of enemies and coming out on top. ADC's are interesting, they can single handedly do more damage than pretty much any other archetype, but to do so they need help. To beat an ADC you need to get on them, maybe cc them, but generally just chunk them out enough that they can't do their full potential. An ADC is only helpful when they can AA, don't let them, play an assassin, or try something like vi. As long as you have a team comp with all of the general roles filled out it is basically a game of cat and mouse with your opponents, every type of champion has its strengths and weaknesses. Learn to capitalize on squishyness with burst damage or dive potential, CC and let your own ADC deal the damage to tanks. And in response to your first comment about CC. Yes, its a counter to everything, but its not an excuse. CC is probably the most powerful tool in any game of league, its the team that can utillize it on the right targets at the right time that generally comes out on top.

I don't think you should be thinking 1 vs 1. It's a team so a gameplay/strategy will undo everything. Unless you pick a team of squishies, lacking mobility+CC against CC heavy mobile tanks(Amumu Bard MalphiteRammus e.g.)

Malz is low mobile, except for his ult rest of abilities won't CC you so use that to time QSS or zhonyas. Annie, is point and click damage not CC. So burst her down or poke her from range. Shyv, Yi etc- Lack CC. One hard CC should be enough to focus them. - Teemo, Graves, Lee, Luci, EZ are mobile champs who can wreak them. For teemo to work, you should know where to lay bombs + use the bomb vision to Camouflage.

I never had any issues with anyone, thou I dislike Teemo (becuz of items).

Zhonyas. Bard ult. Fizz troll pole. Kench devour. Kalista ult. Blind (for autos to cancel before they completely fire). Silence (for abilities before they finish casting). Taric, Kayle, Trynd ults to an extent. Yi Alpha Strike. Zed ulti (if timed well i think). Shaco Q and Ult (if well timed i think same as Zed not positive). Dying before they get to you also blocks them from targeting you with AA or abilities :P. Ekko E? Vlad pool. Ezreal E sorta sometimes? Gragas bodyslam interrupts almost every other interaction in the game. Spellshields block ability effects. Should I continue??
